Good morning from a chilled but warming So. Central Wisconsin. 0 now up from -10 actual temperature at 5:30am. We are heading to +20 with real feel in the low teens.

The coffee, Oiltenders thick dark brew and it smells heavy. Sodas, teas, milks, juices and hot chocolates are in the line. English muffins or sourdough bread with thick sliced maple flavored bacon from Neutzkes or thin expensive stuff from Oscar Mayer with no flavor. There are some sausages along with tomatoes and grapes from Chile!

Medical day was yesterday and I'm ok. Today a just scheduled bone density test which maybe will send me to the LHS afterwards, or at least Portillo's for a Chicago dog!

Enjoy the day

Good morning.

Mid-teens to start the day with a forecast high in the low twenties.  I made decent progress on one of the cabooses I am building, or maybe more of a "rebuilding".  It is a former Silver Streak kit I picked up somewhere that was well built but suffered from heavy gloss paint.  It was assembled with Ambroid glue, thus pulled apart easily.  I made new sides, everything else just needed to have the old paint removed.  I pulled the metal parts from the paint remover this morning.  The paint stripped off some of the parts, but hasn't even begun to strip on others.  That'll slow my roll a little, but not too much as I have some miscellaneous parts stashed that I may be able to substitute moving forward.

First, a couple shopping errands this morning, then back at it.

I hope everyone has a safe and rewarding day!

Morning crew. It was a cold 18° this morning. Already had breakfast, but I'll have another cup of coffee.

Haven't figured out yet what's on today agenda.

Speaking of Silver Streak kits. I did a caboose from a Silver Streak kit but shortened it. This was done many years ago when I was a member of the then Kodak City Model Railroad club now the Rochester Model Railroad club. The guys always said it had to be airconditioned because of the green glass I put in for windows.

Good Morning

We made it up to Detroit, waiting for airplane to park. I hear it is 18F outside with snow in area. Looking out the window confirms all that.

I brought my computer with me so I can enjoy some CAD work while wife hits the shopping. Then dinner, a little gambling and catching up with family. Should be a good time.

Morning all.

Headed out to Costco this morning.  Then will pick up lunch.  I wish we had a Portellos.

We're up to double digits, headed to 28.  Still snow on the ground from a few days ago, it should melt tomorrow when we break freezing.
