I don't have photos to share tonight.  Today I worked on the roof, mostly staining and gluing the rafters together.  I determined where to put lights, so I got out the LEDs and painted the shades.  I'll put three in the main shed, one in the office, and a couple in the second track area.  I need to figure out how to run the wires, but that shouldn't be too much trouble.

Today was dedicated to roofing.  I decided to put corrugated iron on all the roofs.  The instructions called for rolled roofing or tar paper.  I wouldn't think the railroad would build a sturdy stone structure and cover it with tar paper, so corrugated iron.  I'll color it similar to the depot's roof with a little more rust.

The Builders in Scale roofing is a scale four feet tall.  I cut it to a scale 26" wide.  Cutting it to width with an X-Acto blade was too slow, so I made a simple jig.  I glued a stop block on a board at scale 26", pushed the roofing strip against it, and cut it with scissors butted up against the end of the board.  It is much quicker and easier than the X-Acto knife, at least for me.

These are the two clerestory roof panels.  I used 3M transfer tape to attach the shingles.  It's fast and holds well.  The cutting jig is on the right.

Mike the shingles look great. I use a  Scotch double sided tape on a dispenser like plain Scotch tape. It's a lighter tape but works well for me.
