I absolutely love the coloring of your stone walls.
Also, the jig for cutting of the corrugated sheets is a must to have for me,
so I will make one for myself. When I cut those sheets with an exacto knife, I always
seem to rip their edges, and won't now using a jig. Thanks for that idea.

Howdy folks,

Curt, Rick, Philip, Larry, Jerry, and Rich, thank you for your kind words and for following the build.

It's always a dilemma for me to decide on how to paint and weather corrugated siding.  If you look at my previous builds, I generally favor a lighter touch with the weathering.  That said, I decided to try to make the roofing look old and rusted. The colors favor a warmer touch.  I used four paint colors and two pigment colors to get this effect.

Here is a progress photo of the weathered office roof leaning against the unweathered shed roof. The lighting is from an overhead color-balanced lamp.



This photo shows the utility shed and the office roof after liberal dusting of pigment. The lighting is from a fluorescent bulb in the spray booth and looks warmer.



Every build is a learning experience for this old guy, and I appreciate your critiques and comments to help make them better.

Mike, the corrugated roof looks good.  But I think a dark grey wash or dusting with pigments would add a bit.  The colors are a bit too uniform across the roof.

Looks good Mike.
I prefer to have a bit more variety in each panel to make them stand out.
Here's mine on my Lost Delta Boathouse. I used about 6 different colours (greys, browns and orange powder) to get it right.
But the final thing I did to make it pop was to drybush a light grey over just the top of the corrugations.
