Well there is only one building in town that doesn't have any lights and that's the station.




The only building in town that still has no electricity.  It's about time that the power company rectifies this situation.  The station was the first building that was built for the town of Henderson.  At the time that I built it I wasn't planing on adding lights to the building.



 
As you can see on the underside there is no hole to add lighting to the building.





First thing I had to do was drill a hole in the bottom of the station so a LED can be installed. 




The only white LED i had here had a blue hue to it which doesn't look like an incandescent light at all.  In order to correct that I painted the led with clear orange paint.  Once the led was wired and installed I used 5 minute epoxy to hold the LED in place.


 
Once the 5 minute cured I planted the building.  Here it is with the lights on.

next up will be adding street lamps.  As everyone knows you can never have too many lights.

Yup the lighting adds a lot to the scene.

Jerry, I thing in the future, Henderson will become a side project as I have no plans to do anymore remote work.  15 years working on the road is enough for me.
