Wow, the house is amazing.  Excellent work.  ~mike
My current builds are a Post Office. and miscellaneous rolling stock

Thanks, Dave, Karl, Jerry, Mark and Mike. Here's what it looks like after another few hours.  Nid isn't being picky about the corner joints because they'll be covered by flashing and shingles.

Not sure how much progress there will be on this house. Nathi (who's almost 18 now) wants to build a house too. He and his mother picked 121 State St., much smaller and simpler but... At least its mansard roof has straight (for HO models 2 feet from the fascia) corners.

My priority this afternoon will be places to put their efforts (my life would be much different if I hadn't learned when and how to delegate).

Nid mentored Nathi's work on 121 State St. while continuing to build 114 High's roof. A good deal remains to do, but the end is in sight.

Nathi got the walls of 121 State in place. with the bay and the stoop outside.

They were talking in Thai the whole time, some of it was probably modeling Q&A, some was Thai politics (results from their national election were released today) and some just mom and kid spending the afternoon together.  Meanwhile I worked on the layout. 121 State St. will have a place tomorrow, maybe also 114 High. But that job really ought to include putting in the remaining length of State St.

Nid is through with the styrene exterior of 114 High St.  The mansard corner joints don't need to be perfect, as they'll be covered with shingles.

Nathi made some progress on his build of 115 State St.  His next step is the relatively simple 2nd story mansard. Meanwhile I ordered more shingles from B.E.S.T.
