Added some details to the Store and also some landscaping. Found a couple of signs in my stash to go on the front of the building. The name sign I made on my computer then printed them off on 110# paper. Weathered the sign a little and used 2x4's for the frame before attaching it to the storefront. The crates of produce came from Berkshire Valley and made up pretty nice. We have cabbages, apples, green squash, tomatoes, and lemons. The shelf was made with 6x6's, 3x12's for the outside frame and I made up some 16 x 16's for the supports. Added a couple sacks of grain against the iron front, a small barrel by the door and an empty milk can.

Made a tree to hide the backdrop seam and it works pretty well distracting the eye. Scenery wise I added overgrowth in the corners followed by grass and some weeds along the road. Used dirt in the front of the store and some scrub grass.

Next I'll work on the "Repair" part of Luke's Mercantile which is the shed. Lots of details will be added along with a scratch built work bench and a fence on the left side and of course the scenery as well. That should keep be busy for awhile. Thanks for stopping by and for all your great comments and/or suggestions; they're greatly appreciated.

The repair shed is finished. All the parts are from the parts bin with some being refurbished and refreshed. Added the fence to hide the pile of junk which again came from the parts bin. The bench I had from a previous build and added some tools and a shelf with some bottles and cans. The little engine is waiting to be repaired.

The next project is scenery, scenery, and more scenery. As always thanks for stopping by and leaving your nice comments and/or suggestions.

Larry,

Fantastic build on all of it. I love the look of the store front. Make me want to grab a tomato.
