Morning all,

Yesterday's surgery went well. Knee really isn't painful today, but I'm not going to overdo it.  Icing it now.  Looks like a day of YouTube videos, computer games and maybe some kit work.

Good luck with the recovery, Dr Jeff.  You know what they say about "listen to your doctor".

More rain today, first chance of sunshine will be Sunday.

I got nothing done on the railroad yesterday, today will be a pick-up/put-away day.

Good morning everyone.

It will be sunny and warm on the west coast of Oregon today.

Jeff, glad the surgery went well.

Undecided what will happen today.
More research will be done after breakfast.

Have a great day everyone.

Morning all,

Dr. Jeff, great news on the knee surgery. Now, as you always tell me, "Listen to the doctor and don't overdo the recovery".  ;D

Have a great day ya'll.

Good morning folks,

Warm weather is in the forecast for the day at 80F.

Jeff, it's good to hear your knee surgery went well, congrats!

The Howe Truss bridge is almost complete with a few small details to finish today.

Have fun,

Good morning. Great news on the surgery Jeff.

High 70's this afternoon in So. Central Wisconsin. It's passport renewal day, breakfast out and sitting on the back deck. It will be great if I get in the train room before dinner tonight but that will be an extra for the day. I've been watching the NHL's Stanley Cup playoff games so I have not been going into the train room after we eat. I was twisting wire for tree armatures I create trees every NHL hockey season between the periods. I have 312 twisted and the shaping should have begun last night. Instead I did 33 more twisted wire trunks but for a grove of weeping or "trembling" aspens.

Enjoy the day

Morning all,

Glad to hear that you're doing well, Jeff! Take it easy.

Got my morning walk in early today. I have a telemed appointment with a sleep specialist at 10:30. It's a follow up so I don't expect that to last long. Then it's off to a once a month, or thereabouts, lunch with the old work crew. The numbers are skewing heavily towards those who are formerly employed, as compared to those who are still employed, by the company. Last time we met, we learned one of our crew was in his last week with the company.  Laid off after 26 years with the company.

Some workbench time this afternoon when I get back from lunch and running an errand or two.

Have a great one!

Good afternoon, all, and best wishes for your recovery, Jeff.  Still raining on the lower Merrimack valley. The Boston Globe used to publish weather statistics like heating & cooling degree days, total precipitation vs. average. Not there anymore, haven't found a good alternative.

I voted most of my stocks today; if I don't like the Summary of Executive compensation I usually vote against all the directors as well as the advisory motion. One more errand, then maybe layout work.

Fosters (the Dover paper) publishes some weather stats.  I'm not sure where they measure them, because we got A LOT of rain and thunderstorms Saturday, more than 2".

According to a radio forecast, we could get more thunderstorms this afternoon.

Good afternoon all.  I was at the club working on scenery this morning.  I also went for a walk.  Train room is next.

Jeff, good news.  Like the others said, follow the advice of your medical team.
