Morning all.

Doctor released my walking restriction, though I'm still not supposed to walk over uneven ground for a couple more weeks.  Later in the day I did a little over a half mile walk and was kinda pooped afterward.  Amazing how quickly you can lose your stamina if you're just sitting for two weeks.  A trip to Costco later and we'll try for a mile walk later today.

Good progress, Dr Jeff.  Good thing you live in flat Iowa  ;D

It's cloudy and cool, heading to 54.  Tomorrow it'll barely make 50.  I'm OK with this, but all my neighbors with newly opened pools aren't enjoying it at all.

We have our monthly lunch group, but I'll get back to the walls for Winchendon late this afternoon.  I did some test-fit of windows to see where the interior framing goes.  Since the double windows are a bit wider, I'll have to cut new top and bottom sills.  That's OK, I have plenty of scale 2x6.

Good Luck on the walk Jeff, it does get harder the longer you are laid up. I am doing well, have swam in our new pool and done some clean up of workspace but not much else. In one of those 'not sure what to do' moods so of course I do nothing. Hopefully will get my butt moving today.

Good afternoon.  It's a wet chilly day in this corner of Virginia.  I've been out running errands this morning and I plan to do some design work this afternoon, after I do some carpet cleaning.  I spilled a cup of coffee yesterday and I'm now in trouble.

Good evening, those who are still awake (or just starting Thursday in Thailand, Oz or NZ). Long day at Seashore Trolley Museum. A SEPTA Budd-built subway car we never got around to is almost ready to leave for the Hudson Valley. Track Crew placed, lifted and tamped stone at a turnout leaning about 1.5" to the east - that matters in 1:1, particularly with track equipment designed around 4-point suspension. It's also a single-point streetcar turnout leading into a 30-ish foot radius curve. I ran our GE 25-ton switcher (most recently Providence & Worcester #150) a couple of hundred yards and drove my tractor perhaps a mile.

The fire I lit on return home has warmed it up and I've done my email and written my report. And so to bed...
