Grey and cool in MI this morning.  Had rain a bit at times overnight, I think.  ::)

The Doll and daughter and grand son of the Geek Squad are off on a day trip, I have an Amazon return to drop off at a UPS rep and PT this afternoon.

FedUP
tracking says Starlink is in today's toss off the truck...I hate when FedEX shows, but then, they sure have the most creative ways to wreck the deliveries. Their routing is strange, they have a big hub 15 miles E of me on the W edge of Lansing but our stuff ships from the S side of Kalamazoo, 65-70 miles away.

Still can't get a reaction from the decoder I got.  I need to hook up my LokProgramer and Tester and dig into it.  :-X  I've about been priced out of Sound.

Little else to add, sure hope the weather antics brewing in the Atlantic don't cause too much disturbance in the force.  :o

BE WELL! Stay Safe!

Good morning everyone,

Thanks for the coffee and breakfast Rick.

Going to have to keep it short today as I just started on a new job site and have some catching up to do.  At least this time I get to go home every night.  ;D  It's currently 18c (64f) and overcast with rain in the forecast, it's a great day to work.  No modeling last night, we shall see what tonight brings.

Have a great day everyone.

I guess that means you're not a "2 finger hunt-and-peck" kind of typist.  (In high school, I ended up in the pre-secretarial typing course, and I had a dislocated finger from gym for part of that time.  I didn't score very well on the tests, but that's a skill that has been invaluable for the rest of my life.  And with the backspace key to correct mistakes, I can pound the keys pretty well.)

Showers and cool here, influence from the hurricane off the coast.  We're off for a pot-luck lunch, so not much time in the train room today.  (I'm making a couple tapas dishes from my Spanish cookbooks.)

Morning everyone

Rick thanks for the coffee & breakfast.
Now that's a great sunset.

Curt hpe the wife is feeling better.

Larry I'll look for your update on the scenery.

Tom have a nice day with the guest playing trains.

Morning Terry.

OUCH!!  I did that a week ago but not that bad those boxes are dangerous.

Karl the deliveries are strange on where they come from when you live right next to a hub.

Ron glad to hear your new job is close to home this time.

Dave have a nice lunch.

Weather in South Jersey cloudy/72.
Will take a trip to the beach for some pictures later if it isn't pouring.
The waves are suppose to be 8 to 10'!!

Everyone have a great day!!  :)

Can't disagree with any of the comments so far, except that my feelings for Microsoft match those for Apple, so that leaves little room to maneuver. Like almost all the variants of that sorry operating system, the users are going to have to suck it up and carry on.

Yes, the Atlantic is a bit active and the worst part of the season is coming up, but today is a sunny day with a few passing showers later, y'all have a good one.....

Good Morning All,

Today for breakfast is coffee, cereal, bagels, yogurt, OJ, and soda.

Started out the day with a walk at 78F and high humidity. MOH appears to be getting better since she's drinking coffee this morning. ;D The animals were little a-holes last night. They got hold of a roll of MOH's batting material for her quilts and tore it up and spread it around the dining room and living room. >:(

Today is floor day then I need to get motivated to upload some vacation (train) videos to YouTube.

I hope everyone has a good day.

620 with a faint layer of ground fog in MI this morning.

Amazon was here already and yesterday's FedEx delivery was stealthy and neatly delivered, Amazon style with an email photo  :o will wonders never cease?  Amazon with a hub 12 miles E of me sends my stuff from the S side of Grand Rapids, 50-55 miles to the West logistically illogical.  :o

Today will be Starlink day, if my muddled mind and aching old bones cooperate. PT at 2:30  ;)

Enjoy the day all.

Good Morning,

It's a cloudy 58 with a high of 76 in New York. The weather folks think we're done with 90+ days for this year which doesn't hurt my feelings a bit. Today I completed my 74th trip around the block. When I was in my 30's that seemed like a long time away......yet here we are. Thankfully I've been blessed with good health so I can't complain. Mopping floors this am then hope to get in some bench time later.

Curt thanks for coffee and breakfast. Sounds like the critters were "Little stinkers" (pun intended) with the batten.

Karl good luck with Star Link and the PT; hope that's doing some good.

What's your plan for the day? Have a great day!!!!! Be well and stay safe.

Happy Birthday, Larry.  The NH seacoast's 10 day forecast is a good deal cooler than the first 10 days of August, but the days are noticeably shorter; High Summer is gone till 2026.
