Karl, any good progress at the bench?

Jerry, I can't wait to see what you're working on.

Larry, hope the Buick check-up wasn't expensive.

Philip, how are you?

Ron, packing all done?

Dave, how's the pipe threader project going?

ACLTom, hope there's all good news from the cardiologist.

Curt, it was no trouble working on your photo and didn't take long at all.

Mike, enjoy the visit with your sister.

Greg, TomO, Dale and anyone else looking in, hope you are well.

Today is my 1,000th day on the road.
Need to do laundry and then hit the gym today.

Good Morning All,

Thanks for opening and breakfast Rick. The sunrise is beyond spectacular.

Getting ready to head out to the VA for dad's appointments. After that I need to buy parrot chow. It's kind of in the area.

Severe thunderstorms last night with the lights flickering several times. Tonight is supposed to be worse.

I'll try to remember to post later.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Good Morning,

Rick thanks for the coffee and breakfast. Congrats on the 1000th day milestone; I'm sure it doesn't feel that long a time. Thanks for another beautiful photo. The Buick was under $200 including inspection and an O-L-F.

Curt hope your Dad's apts. go well and the bad weather passes you by.

What's your plans for the day.

It's a sunny 67 with a high of 79 in New York. Hope to hit the bench for an hour or so then probably some time outside. Ellie and I are going to pick up our new glasses this afternoon and have dinner out for a change.

Have a great day!!! Be well.

Sun  8) , warmer and forecast of considerable wind in MI today.

Bench time was ok yesterday.  Prepping for some track weathering then maybe some scenery for the section I've been working on.  Rain is a possibility later, as well.

Today?  :-\

Be well all.  Great sunrise, Rick.

Another great photo, Rick!  The problem I had as a landscape photographer was that I'm too lazy to get up to capture sunrises...

Nice sunny day in SE NH, coolish start, warming up to seasonal high (77).  Off to another concert this afternoon.

It felt really good to finish the pipe threader.  That was a fun project.  I showed it to one guy who said "My grandfather had one of those for his plumbing/machine shop business."

Morning all, I'm slinging a hoe this am. Weeds always win! Gena is staking plants. We had a gully washer Saturday.

Congrats on 1000 days Rick, doesn't seem that long.....one great sunrise pic yesterday!

Have a great day folks!

The bench is still an orphan. Kinda in a slump plus this great weather prevails!

Morning everyone

Rick thanks for the coffee & breakfast.
Wow one of the best sunrise pictures I've ever seen.

Curt hope Dad gets everything straighten out today.

Larry have a nice dinner out with Ellie.

Morning Philip.

Karl sounds like a good day to work on the scenery and track.

Dave have fun at the concert.

Weather in South Jersey sunny/74.  Later on 84.
Will see how it is at the beach and then head on down if it's warm enough.
I managed to put the tools together and paint them yesterday.
Now to make a rack to hang some of them on.

Everyone have a wonderful day!!  :)

Good morning, all. Rick, am I right in thinking that's ice on the stream?  What elevation, more or less?  By the middle of June, streams in the mountains of northern New England are pretty much ice-free, but hikers often post-hole through snow where trails pass through shady valleys or thick evergreen groves.

Morning all,

Thanks for breakfast Rick.  Beautiful sunrise photo also.

I don't think the Carotid Ultrasound on my neck will show anything new. If so, deal with it then.

On the other hand, the two skin biopsies on my left and right legs came back Squamous Cell Carcinomas. I'll have Mohs Surgery on the left leg Monday, June 16th and the right leg Monday, June 23rd. This is a procedure I've had in the past and the only draw back is the day of surgery and the next four days I have to elevate the leg. This will also seriously cramp my modeling time.  8)  :-X Oh, the Mohs surgeon lets me watch the procedure. I find it fascinating to watch how they cut, scrape, cauterize and then bandage.

They have a machine that removes the smell of burnt skin. Nothing like the smell of burnt skin on a Monday morning. 8) In my law enforcement career, I've smelled it and other stuff many times. No big deal for me, just a major inconvenience.

I can't cheat either, with the leg elevation as Pam will be on me like white on rice.

Okay, enough of my daily life.

Have a safe and very healthy day everyone.

Tom, I'm with Jerry, and I wouldn't want to watch any such procedureeither.
Hope you get some modeling time in and are feeling better soon.

Good Morning All,

Breakfast today is coffee, cereal, bagels, yogurt, OJ, and soda.

Started out the day with a walk at 77F and very high humidity. We had a gully washer again last night but with less lightning than the night before. We have probably received 3-4 inches of rain in the last 2 days.

Yesterday the VA appointments went ok. Dad still can't hear worth a darn. The parrots got their chow so they can continue eating.

Today is floors along with the regular chores. I have no issues watching medical procedures on me except the dreaded colonoscopy. Then it's NOPE.

Tom best wishes for your procedures. If you need anything give me a call.

I hope everyone has a good day.
