Good morning folks,

Rick, thanks for opening, coffee, pork roll, and the photo.  Good luck at MB.

Curt, Good luck with the 1:1 activities.

How is the rest of the crew?

It's a bright morning headed to 94F.  Rain is expected to start on Thursday and last for about ten days.

I didn't make it upstairs yesterday, but I plan to today.  Curved surform planes arrived yesterday afternoon, so there should be foam detritus everywhere.

Have fun,
mike

Curt, happy birthday to your son.

Morning Gents,

Rick thanks for the coffee and breakfast. Hope all goes well with the Van. Your
photography skills are off the charts!! Great photo as always. Yes had a nice peaceful
day yesterday.

Curt sounds like you're going to be busy. I ran into about the same problem this time last year. Between train shows and producing his new kits I think Brett is extremely busy. I had ordered some detail parts and it took a longer than normal amount of time to arrive; just be patient.

Mike break out the shop vac you're going to need it. Good luck with the foam prep and of course have fun.

What's happening today.

It's a sunny 77 with a high of 90 in New York and storms; hopefully not too bad. It hit 94 yesterday; just too darn hot!!! My neighbor replaced the stockade fence between us and it looks great; since I bought and installed the first one he paid for this one. Not something most people want to think about BUT Ellie and I are meeting with the Lawyer this afternoon to make out our Wills. After taking 3 years to settle Ellie's Sister's Estate our daughter was concerned about ours; considering some of our relatives stupidity. I had planned on it anyway but thought now was as good a time as any.

Have a great day!! Be well and stay safe.

Morning all. Hot weather continues in the valley. No rain in 8 days so watering the garden again. The bill should be a doozie!

Have a good en!

Hot and humid in SE NH.  The dog who lost 2 teeth at the vet last week is fully recovered, the problem now is getting her to eat her pills that I try to hide in Pill Pockets.  I did some pick-up/put-away in the train room, more of that today.  And I discovered the continuous drain hose on the new dehumidifier leaked all over the floor.  I think I know why, but I'll see if I can buy a longer hose of the correct diameter, to remove the connector where I think the leak occurred.

Morning all,

Thanks for breakfast Rick. I forgot to answer your question. Yes, Pam and I had a great day out this past Saturday and we both needed it.

Well, I didn't get to the work bench yesterday. I decide to edge and cut the grass. I let it go for two weeks and it was just to long. My leg surgery and lack of interest in cutting it was the delay. Just when I was finishing the yard, Tom, my son came by with his chain saw and stump grinder. We removed a tree in my side yard and his front yard, two trees.

I started the yard at 8:30 and when all was done it was 3pm. After a shower I lounged for the rest of the day. Now, all the work is done and I'm in the train shed for the day. Pam is having coffee by the pool and plans to spend the day there.

I have lots to share on the FOS garage build and will start one of the prize kits after the garage is finished. Photo of prizes below.

Have a great day and stay safe everyone.

Tom, looking forward to seeing what you do with those two kits.  They're not the usual laser cut models...

Morning everyone

Rick thanks for the coffee and one of my favorite breakfast even though I prefer the Taylor Ham!  ;D

Curt Happy Birthday to you grandson.
Brett is probably backed up a little because of the new kit.

Mike interesting surform I've never seen one.

Larry that's good way to share the expense of a fence.

Morning Philip.

Dave glad the dog is recovering.

Tom you deserve a day after those trees.  Nice looking kits.
Can't wait to see the start of them.

Weather in South Jersey is cloudy/81.  Later P. sunny/93.  But it is humid.
Three of the grandkids are suppose to come down today but we haven't heard from them yet!
Maybe some time at the bench if my room cools off a bit.

Everyone have a great day!!  :)

Good morning Rick, Curt, Mike, Larry, Philip, Dave, ACLTom, Jerry and the rest of the crew that drops in later.

Thanks for the coffee and breakfasts Rick and Curt.

Rick, nothing like rain to mate a race interesting.

Curt, belated happy birthday to your grandson.

Mike, hope you make it upstairs today.

Larry, Larry, nothing wrong with getting a will, it makes things a lot less messier, we got ours years ago.

Philip, enjoy your day.

Dave, hope the dehumidifier leak is an easy fix.

ACLTom, those look lime very nice kits, congratulations again.

Jerry, hope the grandkids make it.

Currently 27C (81F) and overcast with more rain in the forecast.  After I walked Gracie yesterday and got myself a cup a coffee the sky decided to open up so I didn't get the tree trimmed, I guess it's waiting for another day.  After watching the F1 race yesterday I did make it downstairs and finished wiring up the turnouts and installed up the frog juicers.  I did notice on the triple turnout that I got a couple of track feeder wires reversed (black instead of white and visa-versa) so I'll fix that tonight.

Have a great day everyone.

Say what? :o

Sunny and chilly in the UP this morning. The Doll's boy left early. The daughter is here another day. We may be off to Lake Superior for a little bit of a road trip.  ;)  She drives. I sit and watch, and listen to the woman talk.  ::)

Be well all. Stay safe.

Howdy Jerry,

Here is a photo of the surform planer.  These are convex versus flat on my other planer.

Have fun,

About that strange code in my post (that I removed).  I dunno where it comes from, but one possibility is that's inserted by one of my browser security plug-ins, to prevent that totally annoying "Log In with Google!" pop-up you see on too many websites these days.  I'll keep an eye out for it, and remove it if it shows up again.

Why?  Is someone seeing an actual impact from that chunk of code?
