Good morning folks,

Curt, thanks for opening, coffee, breakfast, and the photo.

Rick, stunning photo...again!

Larry, good luck with the new trains.  Sounds like fun.

How goes the rest of the crew?

It's a bright morning on Lake Wedowee.  We are packing up and heading home after breakfast.  It's been a fun trip, but I am anxious to go upstairs.

Have fun,

Good morning from another beautiful start to a Wisconsin day. We may get to the low 90's today.

Not much going on in the train room but I have started working on 48 tank cars. So far they are inspected and the hazmat decals are being removed. To be lightly weathered, new hazmat decals added and delivered before Labor Day. A huge difference between freight car weathering and the diesel locomotive weathering I have been doing.

No actual work being done on the layout and that really needs to change.

This is Thursday so Terry and I are heading this week out west towards Dubuque, Iowa with a couple of friends for our weekly breakfast/brunch. It's within our preferred 90 minute drive radius for breakfast and it's a decent drive. We will take US 151 going but the drive home will be non-highway driving. This is part of Wisconsin's Driftless area so the scenery will be very nice.

Enjoy the day

Morning all,

Been busy helping Pam sort through papers and investment files. Its amazing how many folks need copies of the Death Certificate.

Hope to get back to modeling this weekend.

Sutures came out this morning and the leg is healing nicely. I should change my avatar to "Scar Man" from all the stiches I've had over the past several years. Not complaining though as it sure beats the alternative.

Have a safe and happy day everyone.

Bright clear sky and pleasant temps here in the UP.

Little to report. Just helped the Doll unplug the drain in her GMail account. What  :-X fun.

Might have visitors this weekend, not sure.

It's quiet in Manistique today, awaiting the influx of trolls for the weekend  :o (anyone from below the bridge). Nice breeze.

Be well.

NH just did away with automobile inspections, so I guess I can look forward to seeing these Yooper skills closer to home.  Better not drive that into MA, though.
