10:45 pacific time Sunday!

We are in Pasadena about 2 blocks from my sister. I will report tomorrow.

We are here till Wednesday for sure then Maui.

Amtrak's Coast Daylight though has its good points and some we were not thrilled with but I'd not hesitate to recommend it.

Rick, too bad, that's 3 times now! I also missed an Australian friend in Vancouver because he arrived the evening of the morning we left. He had to cancel his Air Canada flight because they are on strike. That put him behind his original arrival date by 2 days

Exhausted I am

Good Morning All,

Today for breakfast is coffee, cereal, cinnamon raisin English muffins, yogurt, OJ, and soda.

Started out the day with a walk at 76F and humid. It's supposed to rain in an hour but the sky looks clear. Today is laundry day among other chores.

There has been outstanding modeling and layout work lately. ;D

TomO you're going to need a vacation from your vacation! Have fun.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Morning Curt and others,

Thanks for breakfast Curt.

I'm in the shed today getting ready for another project on the layout.

Have a safe and happy day everyone.

Good morning everyone.

Snoqualmie weather: Mostly sunny, with a high near 92.
I hope it's a little cooler where I'm going to today.

Curt, thanks for the coffee and breakfast.
I saw this article and hope it doesn't impact your kit: https://www.newsweek.com/some-european-postal-services-halt-us-deliveries-over-trump-executive-order-2118282

ACLTom, have fun in the shed.

TomO, we'll meet up for sure at some time.
Have fun in Pasadena.

Greg, hope you have a great week at work.

Karl, you might want to print that photo and hang it on the wall.

Jerry, the socks worked as expected.

Ron, any bents made yesterday?

Mike, how's the layout progress going?

Philip and Larry, what's new?

Dave, I mentioned yesterday about not being much of a seafood eater, but I like sardines and tuna out of the can.

Star and I hiked 8.59 miles and 2,162' of EG to the top of Rattlesnake Mountain and back down.
Afterward Star and I walked around the town of Snoqualmie.
I stopped at a brewery and had a lager and Star had water and mingled with the other dogs.
Today I'll hit the gym again and then head north and meet up with another van owner friend.

There's a small RR museum here and snapped a photo of this.

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning TomO, Curt, ACLTom, Rick, and the rest of the crew that drops in later.

Thanks for the coffee and breakfast Curt, it's great news that your KIR kit is states side.

TomO, sounds like your whirlwind trip has been a lot of fun.

ACLTom, have fun in the train shed, looking forward to your next project.

Rick, sounds like you had a great day yesterday.

Currently 17c (63f) and partly cloudy here, it's shaping up to be a great day.  No modeling yesterday as I decided to do other things, not sure what tonight will bring.  Have a 4 day weekend coming up so I need to prepare for the planned construction project.  I need to demolish the existing shed so that I can replace it with a new shed.  First order of business is to rent a bin so that I can get rid of the old construction material (and a few other things), will be looking into that today.

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning folks,

TomO, thanks for opening.  Safe travels.

Curt, thanks for the coffee and breakfast. A man's work is never done!

TomACL, what a great way to start the day.

Rick, nice hike, did you see any rattlesnakes? That photo, what a beast.  Safe travels north.

Ron, good luck with the demo and subsequent rebuild.

How is the rest of the crew?

It's a bright morning for a change; the forecast is for 84°F.  Since I don't have woodworking tools, I ordered a small nightstand for the DCC gear. It has three shelves and a drawer. It arrived last night, so assembly is on tap today. I am anxious to finish wiring (ugh).

Yesterday, I worked on the interior details for the lodge, and need to head to the 3D printer for a day. The details may be some of the smallest I've attempted to print.

Have fun,
mike
My current build is the Layout scenery and miscellaneous rolling stock .

Morning everyone

TomO good morning.  Be safe traveling.

Curt thanks for coffee & breakfast.
Glad it's in Brooklyn.

Tom what's the next project going to be?

Rick glad the socks worked out okay!!  ;D
Nice picture of the monster.

Ron four days of hard labor!!

Mike looking forward to the tiny details.

Weather in South Jersey P. sunny/72.  Later on 82.
Yesterday was a cleaning day.  And not train related cleaning.
Not sure about today maybe the beach if it clears.

Everyone have a great day!! :)

Sunny and pleasant day here today iin MI.  Little to add to the discourse this morning.  I did work on a better support for the StarLink devise that I will mount in place today.

Evening with friends was fine, the gossip was not too bad.  After a few snacks we played a card game called 5 Crowns I think and had a fine time picking on each other over that.

It sounds as if most everyone is doing well.  Be well all.

I have a couple of logger articulated locos as shown sitting in boxes some where.  I build one from a kit some years ago, Mantua 2-6-6-2.  Challenge I'd not wish to tackle these days.

I did a quick speed test on the Starlink app today after putting the antenna on a raised mount up off the ground.

Good Morning,

Tom your vacation sound tiring; safe travels.

Curt thanks for the coffee and muffin this morning.

Tom enjoy your "shed time".

Rick nice photo. Glad Star only had water; I doubt they make a "doggy brew". Hope you fine some cooler temps.

Ron sounds like a lot of work for a 4 day holiday; don't overdue.

Mike good luck with the new furniture and the wiring.Hope the 3D printing works out.

Jerry don't ya just love "cleaning days?" Enjoy the beach while the weather cooperates.

Karl card games are a fun time especially with friends and ribbing.

It's a sunny 67 with a high of 73 in New York; the temps this week will be mostly in the 70's. My Contractor dropped off the new roof for the front porch already built. As soon as he can rent a small lift he'll be back and install then finish the roof details. Today he's going to another job to grab his stuff since he's done with the "air b&b" idiots; he doesn't trust them. Maybe some bench time later on.

Have a great day!!! Be well and stay safe.
