Curt thanks for the coffee and breakfast. Hope Badger feels better soon.

Rick safe travels.

Jerry have fun cleaning; ya right.

Mike wishing Sharron safe travels home. I'haven't heard of anyone "soaking beans" since my grandma; nom that you're old or anything. I miss the old Radio Shacks myself.

Dave hopefully the Machine Shop slides will help you out with yours.

What's your plans for the day.

It's a sunny, after rain overnight, 57 with a high of 63 in New York. Did the usual Friday am errands then a trip to our local Farm Stand for some tomatoes, corn, and Acorn Squash. Maybe some time at the bench as well.

Have an enjoyable day!!! Be well and stay safe.

Heavy rain from pop-up storms throughout the area yesterday in S Michigan not sure we got enough to help much.

Ron, the Starlink is up and running. I have a "small" issue with printing as Starlink WiFi is 5 whatcha call it's vs 2.4. Geek in law set up one printer in the Doll's work station to direct Ethernet to her Dell. So she is happy. He also set up a 2.4 network. I'll see how that works with my laptop sometime  :o

I will also direct wire my desktop computer to my printer when I get a longer cable. Just ordered 4 from Amazon for Same Day delivery.

Now I have to check a No Start on the wife's 4Runner. She's taken my truck.

Here's a little pretty from the flower garden

Good morning Curt, Rick, Jerry, Mike, Dave, Larry, Karl, Philip and the rest of the crew that drops in later.

Curt, thanks for the coffee and breakfast Curt, it seems that the pool work is never done.  Looking forward to your new build updates.

Rick, safe travels

Jerry, Beach or bench after the chores?

Mike, enjoy lunch with your daughter.

Dave, sounds like you had a successful day working on the clinic.

Larry, hope you make it to the bench.

Karl, did you get your Starlink issues worked out?

Philip, enjoy your day.

Currently 15c (59f) and overcast with rain in the forecast.  Bin arrived yesterday, cleanup starts today between the raindrops.
No modeling yesterday as we went out for dinner and by the time we got back, it was getting late.  We shall see what tonight brings.

Have a great day everyone.

Afternoon all,

Pam took me to IHOP for some pumpkin pancakes this morning.

I've been busy replacing some rotten wood around on the the train shed doors. I had to use my reciprocating saw to cut above the bad wood. The door can't be opened as layout benchwork is up against the inside. The door also opens to the inside.

I've made the repair and now I'm waiting for the sun to hit the area to dry it out.

Hope all are having a safe and happy day.

thank you but not until the 29th of Sept!

I like early but no gifts are needed

Good morning, it's 8:21am on Maui and we are still here. I convinced the brother not to fly but use Skype or Zoom for the consult. All his paperwork can be transmitted via pdf. files and he is doing that now! I have questions for this doctor!

I am heading home Sunday and Terry is staying. I will head to Vegas or Scottsdale when the brother decides where his surgery will be. The brother is flying to Wisconsin with me to meet some friends to play golf.

I watched the Badgers on TV in their 1st football game of the season. It finished around 11pm in Wisconsin but the 5 hour difference had the game done before dinner here. The SIL and daughter have their tickets for the 11th year and they both texted the place was not full. 1st time in 30 years it was not a sell out. They won but it's going to be a lonnnnggg season. Third year in a roll the starting QB goes down in the 1st half of game one. The previous 2 though were out for the year!

Not sure if it's good or bad but I've had no withdrawal pains from not having trains around

Rick, seriously. I thought Vancouver was a great but expensive place to visit and we both loved it. We would go back and plan to. Seattle was even more expensive and IMOO not as nice a town! We have no desire to return there.

Be well

Tom to me Seattle was just another big city. They all have some claim to fame but nothing that would make me want to return there.

Good Morning All,

I'm surprised no one has opened yet.

Today for breakfast all I have is coffee, OJ, and soda.

I woke up at 5 am looked at the clock then rolled over until 7am. I was in bed so long that MOH actually checked on me! I'm waiting with anticipation to see if Dad and I will make the pilgrimage to Tom's today. If not I guess I have to work on the kit!

That's it from here.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Wow it is a quiet Saturday Curt. I am usually one of the last to say hi! Weather here much like Curt's area, muggy, warm lots of cloud cover this morning. Yesterday I made progress on current project but screwed up the 3D printer. I'll have to clean irt today and find out what I did wrong. I shared a photo of my helper on the other clubhouse thread so will share it here as well. Franklin (my buddy) is not much into modeling but he does like to hang out with me so puts up with it. Then it is play time. Hope everyone has a great day.

Good morning folks,

Curt, thanks for opening and coffee.  Either agenda for today sounds like fun.

I'll make breakfast.  Blueberry waffles, thick-cut peppered bacon, Irish butter, and Vermont maple syrup are on the counter. Fresh watermelon and cantaloupe are there, too. Help yourself.

How is the rest of the crew?

Had a nice lunch with our Daughter yesterday.  Sharon arrived home safely and said the rain was horrible in Alabama, and the traffic was thick.  Several wrecks delayed her arrival by an hour.

Not sure what the agenda is for today, probably some college football and lodge wiring.

Have fun,
mike
My current build is the Layout scenery and miscellaneous rolling stock .

Good Morning,

Curt thanks for the coffee. Either way it sounds like a fun day.

Breakfast is sausage gravy over baking powder biscuits with sides of hash browns and/or grits.

Jim hope you get the 3D printer figgered out.

Mike I think we were writing at the same time.

What's on your agenda for the day?

It's a sunny 57 with a high of 70 in New York. With the cooler  weather some of our Hummingbirds I think have vacated the premises and I expect to see the trees change colors earlier this year. Not much else going on here but maybe some time at the bench.

Have a great day!! Be well and stay safe.

Good morning Curt, Jim, Mike, Larry and the rest of the crew that shows up later.

Thanks for the coffee Curt and the breakfasts Mike and Larry.

Curt, hope you make it to Tom's, I really enjoyed my visit there and meeting everyone.

Jim, cute helper you have there, hope you get the 3d printer issue resolved.

Mike, glad to hear Sharon got back safely.

Larry, enjoy your time at the bench if you make it there.

Jerry, hope the cleaning goes easy.

TomO, my sister lives in Seattle and I have visited her there a couple of times and I really like the Pacific Northwest area.  Seattle itself, i can take it or leave it.

It's currently 14c (57f) and rainy here, which is putting the shed project on hold till the rain stops.  I have some cleaning up on the garage to do which I will probable do today as I wait for the rain to stop.  No actual modeling today but I did spend time modifying a protractor for my modeling miter saw.

Have a great day everyone.
