Morning all,

Another 90 plus degree day here.  A trip to the grocery store is on the agenda for the morning, and mowing again for the afternoon.  Maybe I'll paint a detail part or two as well.

Here's a picture of a P-40 in the foreground with a line of P-51s behind it.

Nice picture Jeff.

Not sure what's on the agenda today will see what the the little lady wants to do.

Everyone have a great day!! :)

Good morning.  It's going to be hot here in Virginia too.  I like your tincture, Jeff.  It's amazing how small those planes were compared to the modern fighter aircraft.

I have a train club project to work on and then some errands to run.  I'm trying to stay in air conditioned enclosures today.

Morning all,

It's supposed to hit 98 here today.  :P  That's a tad warm.

Eye exam this morning so I expect I'll be dealing with dilated pupils until later on in the afternoon. That may prevent me from getting the workbench out. Best thing to do might be to close my eyes and examine the inside of my eyelids for a few hours this afternoon.  ;)

Have a great one!

Headed home from the UP, Northern Command is on hiatus.   800 already @ 1100hrs. 50/50 sun and clouds and ~90% humidity. It's been a good month for the most part.

Everyone have a good day.

Like Bob, I had a dilated eye exam this morning.  Basically nothing has changed.  Prescription is the same, the cataracts haven't gotten noticeably worse, the back of the eye (where diabetic damage happens) looks the same....  I like my Eye Dr :-)

It does seem, though, that I have these eye appointments only on the brightest sunny days...  Hot here, 87 heading to 89, humidity is up but not in the horrible range (yet).  It'll be worse tomorrow and Wednesday.

Good evening, all. The NH seacoast is cooling off and I've opened windows for the breeze.  With delays and "yak shaving" at Seashore, we only got 4 switch timbers placed. We're learning the new-to-us machine and the last was a lot smoother than the first.  Then Selectmen, then cook dinner, put the chickens to bed and sit down to write a report.  A video call from my wife & kid in Thailand just ended, now for bed.  No scale modeling today, unlikely tomorrow.
