Morning all,

Has cooled off here, high of 78 today.  I have an appointment with dermatology this morning, my wife has a cardiology appointment this afternoon.  I will probably mow the yard after that.  Doubt any modeling will get accomplished.

An F-4 Wildcat.  This is a color scheme I hadn't seen before.

Another great warbird. Neat to see the different colors.

Sun and cooler in MI today with less smoke, for now, than yesterday.

1:1 on tap for today.  ::) Seems to never end.

After some voice raising and serious discourse about staff hearing issues and communication problems I prevailed on my medical provider to refer me to a PT place re:  my back/hips. First appointment next week.  :o  In spite of my age I am not deaf/dumb nor unaware.

I see in this morning news that a Canadian registered bi-plane landed on the northern E-W highway in the Northern UP after engine failure. Good job/timing as the area is inhospitable to unscheduled aircraft arrival.

Morning all,

Got my walk in first thing this morning and still worked up quite a sweat. It's going to reach the mid 90s again today. Yesterday's grocery store run got deferred until today thanks to the AC guy showing up later than expected.

Have a great one!

Happy August (not my favorite month...)  But weather today is -perfect-, 58 last night, currently 69 heading to 75 with low humidity and bright sun/fluffy clouds.

I'll head down to the train room in a bit, hit the exercise machine, and then touch up the paint on the shaft hangers before gluing them into position on the ceiling joists.  (For that, I have to invert the model.)

Bob, did the AC guy find any problems?

No problems, Dave. It was just routine maintenance.  ;)

Good afternoon.  We had a cold front move through, so our temperatures will top out in the low 80's today.

I made a trip to the dump this morning with some junk.  We're looking at downsizing and there are some obvious areas to start.  I'm going to do some cardstock cutting on my Cricut cutter this afternoon.  I'm working on a club project and I'm still trying to figure out how I'm going to do it and I'm making very slow progress.
