Good Morning;

Coffee is on and donuts on the counter. My football team USF beat Florida yesterday and actually looked good doing it. So was fun to watch.

Today I will get some bench time in then watch some more football and get a swim in. Hope everyone enjoys this fine Sunday.

Good morning everyone.

Jim, thanks for the second cup.

Won a bit of money at the slots yesterday.
Back into the casino this morning for breakfast and then watch the Redskin's game.

Have a great day everyone.

Morning all,

Back from the Narrow Gauge Convention.  Had a good time.  Ran into Cuse from the forum.  Visited many layouts and went to a few clinics as well.

Clear here and headed to 71 degrees.  It hasn't rained in over a week, so the lawn is going dormant.  At least I don't have to mow.

Hawkeyes lost to Iowa State yesterday, still having problems on offense, just like the last few years.  Hope the Patriots win this afternoon.

Rainy Sunday, I don't know if any air show stuff was scheduled today.  Yesterday a pop-up storm came by about the time the Blue Angels should have landed, I hope that worked well for them.

update  Air show yesterday was cut short, cancelled today.  I feel bad for the people who bought tickets.

After brunch, more pick-up/put-away.

Also back from the NNGC with a nice haul of loot...as always. Now I need to build something.

Always good to run into Dr Jeff. Some really amazing layouts in the St Louis area. I only attended 2 clinics as I ran into a bout of sciatica suddenly and sitting still for an hour at a time didn't make me happy - luckily I got in many laps around the vendor room. ;D

My annual burst of post-NNGC enthusiasm is running high, so I hope to at least have a plan of action today.

Have a good Sunday.

Good morning, all.  We had plans to camp our way to and from the NNGC, but home improvement projects got in the way.

I'm nursing a swollen left hand, reaction to a Yellow Jacket sting.  Sent me to Urgent Care for drugs to at least arrest the allergic reaction.  Itches like crazy; otherwise it seems under control.  At least I'm still able to use the hand to hold a throttle 🫤

Good morning.  We had a nice temperature drop, we're in the 60's and with it came some rain.

I'm spending some time at the workbench before I do a beer run.  I may stop at the local hobby shop and pick up some styrene while I'm out.

8)  :o A cool morning here in Michigan. Mid 50s with 50/50 sun and clouds. It seems calmer than it's been. No rain forecast for several days

We've still had hummingbirds at the feeder, lots this morning. Keep thinking they are going to migrate soon.

My SPARTANS managed to pull one out of the hat while the hallowed ones from A2 didn't fare well , oh so sad, boo hoo :'(. I'll see if I can get the Lions on this afternoon. Since ditching Directv I've had to buy an antenna for the tv and it didn't give me NBC yesterday for my team, I think today's game is on CBS and I get it ok,? Well, yesterday it did.

Vagel , those yellow jackets are evil sobs, we had a big bunch a couple weeks ago that were had to eliminate. They found the Doll twice before I got them gone.

Enjoy the day everyone.

Morning all. I did get some detail parts painting done yesterday.  It also got real humid before the skies unloaded in the afternoon.  For all the talk of high winds and tornadoes, I didn't experience anything but heavy rain and distance thunder. I guess one did touch down near Springfield. Photo is B&M piggyback loading near Boston.

Morning all,

My Nittany Lions won yesterday but they haven't faced a real challenge yet so that's not saying too much.

Just dealt with a computer issue.  The monitor and the computer decided they were no longer on speaking terms.  Pulled out the old monitor, hooked it up and it's working now.  Oh well, the old one is smaller, but it'll get the job done.  The larger monitor was a leftover from my working days.  Didn't cost me anything.  The company didn't want it back when I retired.

Next up is attempting to remove a cartridge from a faucet in the tub.  The special tool I needed arrived last night.  Apologies in advance for the any cussing you might hear while I try to extract it.

Hope to hit the workbench this afternoon but it won't be until after I run the better half to Michaels.  I want to browse around as well.  Been ages since I've been there.

Have a great one!

Bob, check the cable to the monitor.  I've had those fail, too.

Evening all,

Been busy all day with the hobby and real life stuff.

All this talk of football brings back bad memories from the Gator game yesterday. What an embarrassment.  :-[ :-[

Bob, I did hear some rumblings from up your way. Oh wait, it was just thunder.

Hope all had or are having a great day.

Good evening from the NH seacoast.  We had hours of steady rain and my lawn was responding before we went out to dinner. We're still a good deal short of normal for this year.

I'd planned to spend the weekend preparing for the NER convention next week, but issues at the Museum took up most of my time.  At least my reports are now more or less up to date.
