Morning all,

Looked over all the estimates and chose the winner.  Hopefully they can start soon.  I need to call City Water Works as they sent a letter saying they need to replace my meter.  I'll need to remove the airbrush booth and desk area so they can get to it.

Built a couple of IKEA shelving units yesterday I picked up in St. Louis while at the Narrow Gauge convention.  Needed them as it seems I'm running out of space to store kits.   ::)

I need to download/resize some pics from the convention, until then, here's an interesting plane from the airshow.  It's a biplane with an added jet engine.  He raced a truck (also jet powered) during the show and they blew off "bombs" as well.

Wild looking stunts, Jeff.

Sun and fun in MI yesterday, mowed after replacing the blades on my mowing machine.  Spent the evening with friends on a spur of the moment invite.  LIONS already have a worse record than last year.  LOTS of work for them to do. GB Packers looked decent.

Morning all,

Yesterday's plumbing project was a total failure. Spent a few hours trying to remove cartridges in the bathtub faucets so I could replace them to stop a drip but to no avail. The plastic retainers were locked in tight. Couldn't budge them no how. Oh well, this may just accelerate the remodel we've been talking about for quite some time now.

About to hit the workbench and try to get some momentum (which has been sorely lacking lately) going. I'd like to wrap up the current build and pick out something new (old) from the stash to get started on.

Have a great one!

Happy Monday.  It's in the 70's and we just finished a walk.  Great weather here!

I'm using Plastruct styrene brick sheets for a building and ambient light can be seen through the walls.  It's assembled and this morning I painted the interior with black paint.  It works!
