Morning all,

A sunny day here with high of 86 degrees.

It's our 44th anniversary, we're going out to early dinner at German restaurant later that has great sauerbraten.

Four day weekend for me, hope to get some train stuff accomplished.

Morning All

I promise that I'll eventually post some NNGC photos, life has been busy.

I had big plans for train time but we're hosting the two grandkids this weekend, so that will be pretty overwhelming as one is 1 5 month old happy little blob and the other is a 2yo tornado...it's the greatest but nothing to be underestimated.

I'm still very busy modeling (in my head) so, hopefully, that will translate to the layout  next. I'm negotiating a retirement buyout- so the modeling future is bright.

Have a good Friday for those working stiffs like me who still celebrate them.

44years! that's terrific in modern times. I just celebrated 49 but it took some basic  :o math and two goes at it, 25 then 24 last week, to get there.

We are up and running with bright clear skies and mid 50s at Northern Command. Policing the grounds and KP should be first on the duty roster.  :D A trip to the quartermaster for supplies will handle it. I see some hornets have moved in beneath the deck in our absence.  :-\

The staff car needs gas, made it on one tank. It was $2.75 at home, $3.19 here :o

Everyone have a fine day. Be well.

Congrats Dr & Mrs Jeff!  We're not that far behind you.  (44 next March.)

We got almost 1.5" of rain yesterday, the yard very much appreciated it.  We need a week like that, though, to catch up.

In a couple minutes, back to the train room for more furniture...

I have found out that this thing is still on and I am still here. Hi, all!

Update on me:

Moved back to NJ in late 2016

Rejoined the Burlington County Model Railroad Club (www.bcmrc.org) then, took over coordination of the local 'Green Sheets' (SE PA/Lehigh Valley/Southern NJ list of clubs open for the holidays), served as secretary and president of the club, but really have not been active as I should.

The modeling mojo just has not been with me for a long while. Life being lifey, parents in their mid to late 80's that I help around the house with (dad has had multiple trips to the hospital/physical rehab) and just stuff in general.

That said, hope everyone has been well. I'll try to visit more often.

Good afternoon from the lower Merrimack valley. It got up to 80 or so today, but cooling off now enough I've closed the windows.  I remember you from days of old, John/vzjtothalo, welcome.

Evening all,

Congratulations to Jeff and his better half!

Chores around the house today precluded workbench time.  Hope to correct that tomorrow.

Have a great one!
