Oh man I had to take a second ay what I wrote. You said the number of 00-80 nuts was 30 in the truck photo.
I counted 32 each 00-80 nuts bolts and washers. Hence 32 00 80..... :-[

Your turntable is looking amazing! I used jigs (several) for drilling breadloaf when I had my trim business to keep the bit from wandering off track. Great tools make or break a project.

How's the new knee doing?

Philip

labdad

The knee is good.
Thanks for asking.
I'm amazed how sensitive it is to weather.
Boggles my logical mind.
Better than the original one.
I've been bucking and splitting firewood the last two weeks

I absentmindedly forgot I needed a ring rail for the turn table...
So I made a rail bender out of scraps.
Luckily I had aluminum rail (code 250).
At least I'm making progress.

Beautiful work.  Now I know where to go if I need a jig built.

Nice!
Will you add handles so the crew can push the turntable around?

labdad

Yes Rick!
I just hung them a few hours ago. 😳
The handles pivot and assist indexing the rails onto the big timber.
They still need "hooks" to store them when not in use.
