This weeks project.
A sand house.
Chuck doan built one in O scale and
I copied his in O scale 15-20 years ago.
That's it in front of the new one.
This one is a little bigger.
5" wide, 6" deep and7" to the peak.
Or in scale 6'7"x 8'x9'4" tall

A quick (afternoon) project I've wanted for a while. The crew refuses to put links & pins away.

Marty, you've created another masterpiece.

labdad

Thanks!
I wonder how/where they kept links & pins in the "old days"?
Probably a pile somewhere.

So the roofers have been working hard.
I went by last night to check on progress.
Wow!  They got all but the last 5 panels in.
There are 95 in total. 3 3/8" wide (38" in scale) 6" long (8') in scale.

I made a form and used .004" embossing foil.
Darn close in scale thickness.

If enough want to see I'll make a separate post on what/how I did them.

MJ what a beautiful picture.  That really looks a real machine shop.

Yes it would be nice to see how you made them.
