Morning Gents,

The morning beverages are all set to go. Breakfast is western omelet with ham, red & green bell peppers, red onions, shredded cheddar cheese, hash browns; enjoy. For you guys that like a little "pep in your step" there's also a bottle of hot sauce on the counter.

What's your plans for today?

It's already 61 going to 73. Going to Wegmans for an Rx and some odds and ends grocery wise. After that a stop at a nursery for a Mother's Day hanging basket for Ellie. Getting the dirt pile whittled down so maybe I'll give that another go later; if the weather cooperates. Bench time?????

Have a great and safe day!!! Be well.

Rick

Good morning everyone.

35 and light rain right now in Casper, WY, cloudy and 43 later.

Larry, thanks for the coffee and breakfast and enjoy your day.

Jerry, what's new?

Karl, congratulations on the new enforcement tool.

TomO, good news on the golf game and your paper mill is coming together nicely.

Ron, hope I didn't post a spoiler for you yesterday.

Mike, how's the boxcar coming along?

How's everyone else?

Pretty boring day yesterday doing 200+ miles of driving.
Today will be more of the same, but I should be in SD this afternoon.
Interesting how the landscape changed as I drove on Rt 26 in WY.
Started with magnificent s#$@ capped mountains, then transitioned to badlands and finally mostly flat plains.

I pulled over yesterday and got this shot.

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning, Larry, Rick and later arrivals.  Sunny and headed for 70 on the NH Seacoast. Got milk and picked up the kid after last night's Planning Board meeting, so no modeling then, tonight a Flying Yankee BoD meeting is on the calendar.  Still spending a lot of days at Seashore working on track, today at least in nice weather.

Morning all,

Thanks for breakfast Larry, much appreciated.

I'm watering the new sod and working in the train shed. No 1:1 stuff for me today.

I'll update my thread later this afternoon.

Have a safe and happy day everyone.

Morning everyone

Larry thanks for the coffee & breakfast.
Sound like the dirt pile is getting smaller.

Rick great picture today as always.

James have fun doing that track work.

Weather in South Jersey is sunny/64.  Later on 77.
What summer already!!
Wall two is just about done framed.
We were at the beach yesterday to feed the gulls.  But is was cool and windy.

Everyone have a great day!!  :)

Good morning,

Larry, thanks for opening, coffee, and breakfast. Congrats on the dirt pile.

Rick, safe travels.

James, sounds like a busy schedule. Good luck with the track.

Tom, wishing you fun in the train shed.

Jerry, looking forward to photos of wall number two.

How is the rest of the crew?

It's a bright morning, headed to 82°F.  After painting the boxcar, I decided to break it apart.  It is now back in pieces, ready to assemble. I had flipped the side when I added the interiors, thus putting the grab irons on the wrong end.  I couldn't figure out what was wrong until I emailed Mount Blue and received a speedy response.  This old mind isn't working like it used to.

Have fun,

50 and rain in Michigan after 70o and  8) Sun all day yesterday

Spent much of the day was spent outside mowing and such. After dinner I took the Doll to Kohl's to find something to wear to the son on law's father's funeral on Thursday. It got dark and driving home was stressful.  It rained shortly after we got home.

DCC work at the bench today. I'm really tired today.

Enjoy the day all.

Rick

Good morning everyone.

A wintry morning here in Custer, SD where it's only 21.
Sunny and 46 later.

I see ACLTom is here as well so maybe we'll have choices this morning.

Coffee, sodas and OJ are ready.
Two eggs the way you like them, sides of bacon and/or sausage and hash browns are today's breakfast.

Karl, hope you slept well and are less tired today.

Mike, glad you found the error before final assembly.

Jerry, walls done?

ACLTom, will there be an update today?

James, hope last nights meeting went well.

How's everyone else doing?

Another 200+ miles of driving yesterday but I made it to SD.
Where I'm camped just outside of Custer is at an elevation one 5,000' which explains the colder temps.
Even had some flurries here late in the afternoon but none of it stuck.
Heading to Rapid City this morning where it's a little warmer.
I'll hit the gym there.
Nothing else planned yet.

Another picture from Monday's drive in Wyoming.

Morning Rick and others drifting in,

Thanks for breakfast Rick.  I'll have what you fixed this morning.

Yesterday, I was going to update my build thread. However, around 2:30 PM I got chilled, then sweaty and light headed.
A few minutes later I got sick and everything was spinning. I lay on the floor until the dizziness passed. I got up and when to bed for the rest of the day. This morning I feel fine.

Could have been something I ate, not sure. I'll see what today brings.

Have a safe and happy day everyone.

Good morning,

Rick, thank you for opening, coffee, and breakfast.  Safe travels to Rapid City.

Tom, that's horrible.  Glad you feel better today.

It's a hazy morning forecast for 82°F.  I'm taking Sharon to two doctor appointments with lunch in between.  She leaves on a Mother's Day cruise tomorrow.  I'll hold down the fort.

Have fun,
mike

Tom, glad that passed, and hopefully doesn't happen again....

Rick, safe travels.

Hopefully my motivation returns for some more work in the train room...

8) Bright sun this morning, it's in 40s going to 50s with chance of clouds at times.  Rain again late and tomorrow.

Rested this am.

Tom, hate it for you that happening, I used to get those spells, instant, no warning down for the count.  So dizzy I couldn't move w/out violent deep retching.  Had to sleep in place for several hours.  Finally I had surgery to relieve internal pressure in the inner ear.  Been awhile, hope you have no more.  High Sodium is one causal factor for me.

Bench time and possibly layout time.  Next couple of days off the schedule, funeral tomorrow and second eye overhaul for the Doll on Friday.

I did a non sound dcc decoder install yesterday, will test it today if I get a chance.

Be well all.  Safe travels, Rick.

Been looking at the weather around Northern Command, there is not a day in the long range forecast over 50 degrees until the first week of June, and that's as far as the forecast went.  Health appointments all month here so it does look like plans are on hold.  We do have deer tripping to trail cam as they appear to be eating the Doll's perennials.   :'(

Morning everyone

Rick thanks for the coffee & breakfast.
Nice picture this am.
Wow that is way to cold for May.  Be safe driving.

Tom I hope your feeling much better this morning.

Mike enjoy lunch with Sharon.  Hope there is no problems with her.

Morning Dave.

Karl sounds like the Northern Command is on hold until June.

Terry your talking way to much!!  ;D

Weather in South Jersey is cloudy/71.  Rain later in the day.
I'll  finish the second wall today and post a picture of the two walls so far.
Everyone have a wonderful day!!  :)
