When we visited Athens, I paid extra for the 'penthouse' room, to get this view:

And the same shot at night:

That room was worth the surcharge!

More pick-up/put-away today, and then I'll decide what to start next.  Lots of choices, of course, including farm scenery and a boxcar kit.

Good morning Curt, ACLTom, Larry, Mike, Rick, Karl. Philip, Dave and the rest of the crew that drops in later.

Thanks for the coffee and breakfast Curt, have fun with the rafter tails.

Tom, good luck with the bowling practice.

Larry, hope the 1:1 project goes well and you make it to the bench.

Mike, have fun working on the layout scenery.

Rick, that is a stunning photo.

Karl, it's still a stunning shot, glad you had fun at the Op's session.

Philip, have a great day.

Dave, have fun cleaning up.

Current temperature is -15c (5f) with crystal blue skies.  Yesterday the temperature was above freezing but I think that was just a teaser.  No modeling yesterday as there was a medical incident yesterday at the SLD meeting yesterday where the ambulance was called and the meeting was called after that.  Fortunately, one of the members is a retired doctor and he was on the phone with 911 till the ambulance arrived giving updates.  From the signs it looked like it might have been a (mild?) heart attack.  The good news was that he was conscience when the ambulance arrived.  Let's just say that after that incident I did not feel like doing any modeling.  We shall see how today goes.

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning Curt, Tom, Larry, Mike, Rick, Karl. Philip, Dave, Ron and those who look in later.  A thick overcast has been dusting snow on the Merrimack Valley all morning, but none has stuck on my driveway.  I'm not feeling it for burning brush, but that may change if the kids bring enthusiasm home.  So computer work, including posting prototype and model photos of my Rowley, MA HO NMRA standard modules.

Jerry there's actually truth in your statement. We bought couches with enough floor clearance for the skunks. They sleep under the couches.
