Good Morning All,

Today for breakfast is coffee, cereal, bagels, yogurt, OJ, and soda.

Starting out here at 59F and foggy up to 74F later. Yesterday I mainly worked on 4 doors getting the colors I wanted and made door handles out of flattened painted solder.

I found out last night That I need to drive Dad to the VA, pick up a signed document from his doc then go to DMV to renew his handicap parking placard. :-* His current one expires on Tuesday. We have been reminding him for a month. Nothing like waiting until the last minute.

Rick I'm glad you are better and out of the hospital. Those places will kill you! Good luck with the appointment.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Good morning everyone.

53 now, cloudy and 74 later here in AZ.

Curt, thanks for the coffee and breakfast.
I agree, sometimes being in a hospital can make you sicker.

Jerry, I'm glad you're doing some modeling.

Karl, glad all is well in MI. which should provide time to work on the layout.

Ron, good news on the no white stuff forecast.

ACLTom, you can't do any better than .01.
Congratulations.

Mike, I hope you made it upstairs.

I hope everyone else is well and I'm behind on checking ion on build threads.
I'll try and get caught up on that today.

Thanks for all the well wishes, but I assure you, I haven't been in any pain or discomfort.
Star was very happy to see me yesterday.
I have phone calls to make today.
My daughters house is finished and she got her keys on Tuesday.
I think we might start moving her in today or tomorrow.

This is from the hike I did on Sunday in Bullhead City.

Have a great day everyone.

Morning all,

Thanks for breakfast Curt. We had the same issue with Pam's mom, waiting for the last week to renew what needed to be done.

Rick, congrats on feeling no pain and congrats for Star getting daddy back. Moving into a new house is always a great feeling.

Its misty and wet here this morning, 35% chance of rain which means 65% chance I won't get any at all.

Pam wants to practice bowling this morning. I should be back in the train shed some time this afternoon.

Have a safe day everyone.

Good Morning,

Curt thanks for the coffee and breakfast. Hope all works out well with your Dad.

Rick nothing quite like moving into a new home. Hopefully she can get settled quickly. I can only imagine Star seeing Dad and wiggling all over.

Tom good luck with the practicing and hope the Shed's in your future.

What's on your plate today.

It's 21 with more Sn*w and a high of 25. Haven't seen the bench in a few days having to deal with the sn*w and ice and doubt today will be much different. Received about  4 more inches last night so I have to clean out the drive once again and Ellie has a hair apt. this afternoon. Starting tomorrow I have a 1:1 paint job so that'll be good for the next few days.

Have a great day!!! Be well.

Well, Heisenberg strikes again!  The plumber came first thing this morning to look at the up-flushing system.  The pump kept on tripping the ground fault.  Of course, when he reset it, it worked just fine!  But we agreed, symptoms are of a failing pump.  He noted the model, and if it happens again, they'll know what part to order and we'll just replace the pump.

Yesterday afternoon was a mess.  Wife got a flat, and she ended up being towed to the tire place.  (There's some sort of lug nut lock on her car, I think I'll get rid of those!)  Plus I talked to the vet and picked up some medicine for my one dog.  She's had no accidents the last couple of days, but the vet said "That's not uncommon for incontinence due to muscle weakness."  So now my dog is on hormone replacement therapy  ;D  (An estrogen treatment to help strengthen those muscles.)

Today will be another day of interruptions.  I'll have to take my wife to get her car when it's ready, plus PT around noon.  And if her car isn't ready in time, I have to take wife to an appointment this afternoon.

Good morning Curt, Rick, ACLTom, Larry, Jerry, Mike, Dave and the rest of the crew that drops in later.

Thanks for the coffee and breakfast Curt, hope the DMV visit goes well.

Rick, glad you are feeling better and are reunited with Star.  Big day for your daughter, she must be excited.

ACLTom, good luck at bowling practice.

Larry, hope you can make it to the bench soon.

Jerry, good luck with your eye appointment.

Mike, have a great day.

Dave, looks like you have a busy day ahead of you.

Current temperature is -9c (16f) and mostly blue skies.  No white stuff in the foreseeable future.  Another night with no modeling but should make it to the bench this evening.  Because Monday is a holiday here, I have a 4-day weekend, kind like a mini holiday.  ;D

Have a great day everyone.

Sun and mid teens in the weather report, warming ever so slightly the next few days.

Good to see things going well around the place. Enjoy the days moving Rick, memories for the kids are being planted.

Curt, I concur, you're a good man for helping Dad like you do.  I had 20+ years with my folks as their odometers wore on.  Some days.... :-X

No big plans today, I did some layout work yesterday and also have a partially started Campbell bridge kit to try and adapt into my project.  I keep tossing bs into the thing, excuses to overcome doubt on my ideas.

That's all I got, be well all.

(Hi Mike...persist... :D )

I do know some other modelers, including one or two in the early rail community, who "model 1-1 scale" by working at museums.
