Good morning everyone,

Thanks for the coffee and breakfast Curt.

Rick, watched the video, you keep finding all the great areas to hike.

Mike, hope the cataract surgery goes well.

Larry, maybe you can find a couple of college students willing to do it on the cheap. ;D
Karl, sounds like the haircut from hell. That's an eerie photo of the fog.

Dave, I hope plan B works for installing the fence.

Jerry, hope you get a chance to finish the doors today.

Current temperature is 11c (52f) and sunny, it's starting to warm up again.  No modeling last night as I went to visit my sister, had a great time.  We shall see what tonight brings.

Have a great day everyone.

Good evening, all. I've finished my proofreading gig for this month and I'm about to shut down and go to bed,  Long day...

Quote from: deemery on April 22, 2026, 08:30:47 AM... I started work yesterday on the Woodland Scenics barbed wire fence kit for the farm.  The first approach to installing that didn't work, so I'll try Plan B today ....

My one barb wire fence uses wood posts and single strands of copper from lamp cord.  It doesn't look perfect, but the wire is a half-way reasonable diameter.

Good morning everyone.

36 in Bountiful, UT now, cloudy and a change of rain in the morning with a high of 48 later.

Coffee, sodas and OJ are ready.
Bacon, egg and cheese on an everything bagel for breakfast.

Ron, good news on the sister visit and the modeling.

Jerry, doors finished?

Karl, that's a very dramatic photo.

Dave, hope plan B worked.

Larry, take it easy pecking away at that dirt.

Mike, hope the check up went well.

Curt, did you finish the sand stand?

My experience at the barber was much better than Karl's.
I had an extremely attractive young lady cut my hair.
She was also a hiker and we traded hiking stories.
If only I was 30 again.

Late in the afternoon 4 fighter jets circled SLC 4 0r 5 times nd then left.
Wonder what they were looking for.

Was going to do a hike this morning but the weather looks like it won't be great so I'll wait till tomorrow.

Utah capital as seen on my hike on Tuesday.

Good Morning All,

Thanks for opening and breakfast Rick. A day to do nothing is a good thing from time to time.

MOH made bacon biscuits so I'll add that to Rick's spread. I struggled with the stand yesterday, and have to look at it today to decide what I do about it. Later Dad has another VA appointment.

The next skunk event for MOH is Saturday for another Earth Day event. I think the next one after that is mid-June.

Not much else happening this way.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Good Morning,

Rick thanks for the coffee and breakfast. Have a restful day. I wouldn't mind being 30 again if I knew then what I know now; but I guess we can always dream.

Curt thanks for the biscuits. Good luck figuring things out.

What are your plans.

It's a sunny 41 with a high of 61. Ellie wants to go out this afternoon so I think I'll let the dirt pile dry out 1 more day and whack away at out tomorrow. There's the promise of Arby's beef & cheddar sandwiches for dinner....yum. Logged in a little bench time yesterday and maybe more this am.

Have a great and safe day!! Be well.

Good morning, Rick, Curt, Larry and later risers. Local fruit is all gone, but recently I've gotten some nice tangelos so I'll set out a bowl of them.

It's 50F and sunny on the NH seacoast. I'm attending a funeral this morning, but the afternoon is open.  Getting near time for a first lawn mowing, but the mower we share with my daughter is off being serviced.  HUB High Green op session coming up so layout prep is in order.

Good morning folks,

Rick, thanks for opening, coffee, and breakfast.  Those jets were probably looking for UFOs and aliens.  ;D

Curt, good luck with the stand.  Hope your Dad's VA appointment goes well.

Larry, hope you and the Mrs. have a fun day.  Indeed, that dirt can wait.

James, my condolences for your loss. Good luck preparing for the ops session.

Ron, glad you visited family and modeling.  Well wishes for your wife.

Jerry, hope you finished the doors.

How is the rest of the crew?

It's a bright morning at 57°F, headed to 82°F.  My eyes are doing well, and I feel much better today.  I'm going to need new glasses before I take on much detailed work.  I pulled a double sheathed boxcar from the to-do shelf and will begin working on it.  Additionally, I'll continue working on the layout.  The brick passenger platform at the depot needs a bit more accent on the mortar, so that is on the to-do list.

Have fun,

mike

Jerry

Morning everyone

It's only a number!!!  ;D  That's what I tell myself every morning!!

Rick thanks for the coffee & breakfast.
Nice picture.

Curt thanks for the biscuits.
Hope you get it all figured out today.

Larry have a nice dinner.

James thanks for the fruit.

Mike looking forward to the boxcar build.

Weather in South Jersey is sunny/56.  Later on 73.
Should be a nice day day to get outside for a walk maybe the beach,
Doors 2 down 2 to go hope to finish those today.

Everyone have a great day!!  :)

8) Sun and pleasant morning in Michigan today.  We're sitting outside an estate sale waiting for it to open. Long time business owner from the Doll's hometown. Practicing early get up as tomorrow the Doll has her first cataract procedure tomorrow morning an hour from home.

Had a busy day rebuilding a loco drive train, released a wandering possum that got into the groundhog trap, neutralized the whistle pig after he started digging at the other end of our house and tripped the trail cam I had set there, been a battle.

Will remain vigilant for further insurgents. They are destructive, and cagy sobs. Had some layout time after dinner. Frustrating with the scenery progress.

About time for the sale to start.  ::) sure a motley bunch that show up, the Doll enjoys it. I tolerate it only rarely.

Enjoy the day everyone.

BTW it's Maple Syrup Festival this weekend at our "home" village, Vermontville  :o .

Afternoon all,

Sorry I missed breakfast, what, no lunch here?

This morning I edged and cut the grass. I'm now ready to lay the 1600 sq. ft. of sod which is going to be here in the early morning. I hope it is anyway. I'm all stoked to "getter done."

I have a guy cleaning all the pollen off the solar panels. I try to stay off the roof these days.

Not much else gong on from here.

Have a happy and fun day everyone.
