Tom, stairs look good.
Glad the levers were removed easily.
have fun re-doing the interior.

Jerry

Tom nice job on the stairs.  And really a great job on those levers without breaking them.

Dave,

I agree and this one I knew would turn out fine. I applied little glue to hold the lever base.

Rick,

Thank you. The lever base came out broken but the lever pad, no damage.

Jerry,

Thank you. If the levers were glued to the floor, it possibly could have turned out badly.

Terry,

Thanks Butty, much appreciated.

BTW, I've been reading the instruction manual on the RSM Horwood Brothers kit.

When I finally got the lever base out of the tower, I noticed some of the stain was removed with the glue. Not a big deal though.

The tower floor was damp,  so I used a paper towel and stuffed it into the tower for 30 minutes to absorb the moisture out of the floor. I believe this helped to not have a warped floor.

I didn't glue the new lever base in place but you can see I now have room for a desk. And, the light spot is no longer visible.

Done for today.
