Then using glue sticks I glued down the first part, I just love doing things that are easy and make a lot of difference.

And did some more grass behind Jacobs Welding. hoping that the grass and roads will bond the scenes.

This is where the X-cel Feed Mill will be installed.

Positioning the base with some of the buildings in place.

Scribing the styrene to make concrete slabs.

The concrete slabs have been primed and then painted with 2 other grays and a first wash of black acrylics to make the grooves and cracks more visible.

In order to finish this scene with a road I decided to place  a fascia , the fascia is painted with an inexpensive acrylic paint I got at the bargain store.

Jan,

The back drops look great and you blended them very nicely. I like the feed mill, the city blocks, the station and the list goes on. Here is what I don't like -----

NOTHING! I love it all!

looks great Jan. The thought of making long straight cuts in styrene makes me shiver :P

Nice job...John

Thanks Tom and John , I did slip a couple of times John but luckily it still looked natural.

And Tom or anyone else if you do see something you don't like or would do otherwise please don't be afraid to tell me so. It's very hard to correct things and learn from mistakes if no one makes you aware of them.
