Tom I'll join you for a nightcap.  Eagle rare for me.

I did get about 30 minutes at the bench today so not much was accomplished.

See you all in the morning.

Good Morning All,

Today for breakfast is coffee, cereal, bagels, yogurt, OJ, and soda.

Slept much better last night.  I managed to get all the detail parts finished and I took photos such as they are. :(  The big news is Son brought MOH and myself along new car shopping. His old one was a 14 yo Versa and it was starting to wear out. He ended up buying a Chevy Trax (sp). Personally I had never heard of that model. That took about 5 hours. Thankfully he knew what he wanted ahead of time.

Today I will start on about a dozen 3-D printed figures. First thing is getting them off their sprue.

TomO that's going to be a really nice industry.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Good morning everyone.

45 in Burbank, SD, a high of 68 with a mix of sun and clouds.

A saw Curt here and was sure he was opening up so I waited, but now I see he's gone.

Coffee, sodas and OJ are ready.
Hot and fresh coffee cake straight out of the oven for breakfast today.

Jerry, glad you got some bench time.

TomO, sorry I missed the bar and popcorn last night.
That's an impressing amount of piping in your model.
Are you using wire for the piping?

James, thank you and have a good day at the museum.

Karl, Sioux Falls is a very nice town with lots of parks.
There's a population of about 225,000 so it's not very crowded and traffic isn't bad either.
But I think that's going to change based on all the highway construction going on.
My house isn't in Minnehaha County.

Ron, have you made a decision on the AI and I'm sure you'll get it all figured out.

Mike, how do get rid of slimy mold?

Curt, hope you slept better and thanks for the pictures.

Philip, good morning.

Larry, hope Ellie's dental visit went well.

Dave, hope the eye procedure went well.

How's everyone else?

After some grocery shopping, I went to Newton Falls SP.
Star and I did a 5.1 mile hike.
Afterward drove further south.
I'll at Sioux City and explore and then head towards Omaha.

Encountered a much smaller critter yesterday.
This is a red sided garter snake.
He might have been small, but he was very feisty lunging at me numerous times while I was taking a picture.
I hate snakes.

Have a great day everyone.

Cool, 40s, but sunny  8).  60s later.

Things to get around and get at today.  Modeling? mearly a thought as today goes.

Be well all.

Trax looks cute, Curt, you know the miles on the Versa he had?

Be well all.

Good morning folks,

Curt, thanks for opening, coffee, and breakfast. Glad to hear you were able to sleep.  Congrats to your son.

Rick, Sioux Falls looks like a nice city. Sate travels to Omaha.  I used an adjustable rake, hoe, and pooper scooper to remove the slime mold. The pooper scooper was handy to pick up piles of mold instead of bending down and picking it up by hand.  Still, it was very tiring work and took me most of the morning.

How is the rest of the crew?

It's a hazy morning with rain forecast every evening for a week. Today I have a few shopping stops and an eye appointment this afternoon. I don't see a trip upstairs in my future this week.

Have fun,
mike

Good Morning,

Curt thanks for the coffee and breakfast. From what I've seen the Trax is nice but quite small for a SUV. Have fun painting all those figures.

Rick I'll grab another cup to wash down the coffee cake. I'm not a big fan of snakes either; they seem sneaky. Safe travels.

Karl don't work too hard.

Mike between errands and Doc appointments they can keep you very busy.

What's your plans today?

It's a partly sunny 50 with a high of 63. Ellie's dental apt. went pretty well yesterday and the good news is it cost me much as I thought it was going to be. Next week she has a second visit so hopefully that will be it for now. We do have a Wegmans Retirement Dental plan so for her this should exhaust that for this year; while not the best plan it's better than nothing. Maybe a little bench time shortly working on the log disconnects then the garage needs a major straightening; hate trying to work in a mess.

Have an enjoyable and safe day!! Be well.

Morning all,

Thanks for the double breakfast Rick and Curt, I'm full now. However, I'll have more of the OJ.

Thanks also for all the well wishes for my older sister. Her two sons are worthless SOBs and don't want to help. My sister is hard to deal with as she knows everything and is also a contrarian. I remember my father saying to me one day, "Tommy, remember, Joan (pronounced Jo-ann) is not your responsibility!".

I had a blood draw yesterday morning. I was there at the hospital at 6:30 AM. Got in and out in no time. When I got back to the car a huge delivery truck was parked behind me. After a 30 minute search for the driver, I learned the truck broke down and couldn't be moved. I waited for 2.5 hours for a tow truck to move the truck so I could get out. Good thing I took a book.

With all this, I just haven't been in the mood for any modeling. Oh, one other thing - the tree folks now say they will come this Saturday for the tree removal. Yea, right!

Have a great day everyone.

Well, Tom, no one would have blamed you for a drink last night...

I'm still here, but eyes aren't quite up to snuff.  So it's just "triage" on the forum.

Pretty colored snake.
Where's a picture of the house your buying?

Karl have a nice day.

Mike a busy day today!

Larry be looking for the updates.

Sorry to hear about you Sisters family Tom.
You have a lot patience to have wait 3.0 hrs for them to move that truck.

Dave glad your eyes are doing better.

Weather in South Jersey Is cloudy/63.  Showers on and off most of the day.
Should be a good day to sit at the bench.  Will see how that works out!!

Everyone have a wonderful day!!  :)

Good morning everyone,

Thanks for the coffees and breakfasts Curt and Rick.

Current temperature is 9c (48f) and cloudy.  supposed to be cool for the next few days before the temperature rises.  Well went down another rabbit hole yesterday, I was working on the wiring diagram for the control of the planetary stepper motors using Fritzing when I decided to add a new component to the library for the stepper motor.  Component are required to be svg files and online videos suggest that these be made with Inkscape, so I downloaded and installed the software.  After a couple of failed attempts,  :-X I managed to add the component I needed and was able to complete the wiring diagram.  ;D  Also managed to get some 3d printing done.  I'm calling it a successful evening.  Tonight will be hockey as Montreal plays Carolina in the conference finals.

Have a great day everyone.
