I hope you all are having a great Fathers Day. I'm worn down after all the activity!

Rick

Good morning everyone.

54 right now, sunny and 75 later.

Coffee, sodas and OJ are ready.
Your favorite cold cereal is on the counter and the fridge is stocked with a wide variety of milks.
Fresh fruit in the fridge too to add in.

Philip, hope you got some good rest last night.

ACLTom, did you jump in the pool too or retreat to the shed?

TomO, that's terrible service at that restaurant.
Reminds me of the reservation skit on Seinfeld.

Jerry, what's new in NJ?

Curt, hope your grandson can get his act together.

Ron, all tidy in the layout room now?

Mike, I don't think that movie was intended to be a documentary but a possible way that disclosure could happen.

Karl, hope you enjoyed Father's Day.

Larry, pizza for Father's Day sounds great.

How's everyone else doing?

Tried changing my address online at Medicare yesterday.
Apparently I need to change my address at SS first and that will update my Medicare info too.
After jumping over numerous sticks, jumping through hoops and hopping on one foot while rubbing my head I was finally able to log in on the SS page.
Wouldn't you know after all that there isn't a way to change my address on line.
So into town I'll go today and get it done in person.
Figured while I was in town I'd get the tires rotated too.

One more from the UP.

Have a great day everyone.

Good Morning,

Rick thanks for the coffee and breakfast. Hope all goes well at the SS office. Their online services are a joke since they changed the login system. Nice photo.

What's the rest of you doing?

It's a cloudy 58 with a high of 67 with rain later. Had a nice visit with our Daughter yesterday and the pizza was great along with some boneless bourbon wings. Grocery shopping shortly before a call to a hardware store to see if my post toppers arrived for the front porch now that it's all stained. Maybe some bench time later in the day. Tried to order some stuff from SW yesterday but his site was being difficult so a phone call may be in order.

Have a great and safe day!! Be well.

Good morning folks,

Rick, thanks for coffee and breakfast. Good ole' catch 22 at Social Security.  Good luck in town.

Larry, good luck with the post caps.

How are the rest of the crew?

It's a cloudy morning with no rain forecast.  We had a nice Father's Day lunch, then watched our baseball teams soundly lose.  Boo.  I have so many 1:1 things piled up that I don't know when I'll get back upstairs.

Have fun,
mike

Good Morning All,

Thanks for opening and breakfast Rick. Good luck at the SS office today. I hope he does also.

Started out the day with a walk at 76F and moderate humidity. Last night MOH made my favorite meal of Swiss steak, mashed potatoes, white corn, biscuits, and cheesecake (store bought). I don't know how she found the time but it was delish. ;D I also got an hour in at the workbench.

This week the majority of the kits are going to their forever homes but that requires MOH to travel to different areas so it's easier to pass the kits on. Grandson has 2 job interviews this week and Thursday I'll be at the VA most of the day (for myself). Hopefully next week will be pretty much back to normal or what passes as normal in my household.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Good morning Crew. It's 54 now and absolutely beautiful outside. Being that it is Monday the garbage bin and the every other week recycling bin went to the curb.  75f degrees later for the high with single digit % chances of rain today.

Rick I can truthfully say I have not watched an episode of Seinfeld. I did mention the reservation issue yesterday morning on the local 104,000 member Madison Foodie site. Seems I'm not the only one that has happened to. One of the managers of the place said that my posting is the 1st time he's heard of this issue and then the comment section went crazy! I then posted the acknowledgement number of the reservation and he said he'll look into it. That's the 1st time I have posted about poor service on the Foodie site. I feel poor actual service happens occasionally and I'll keep that to myself. Reservation screw ups happen but the poor way it was handled ticked me off enough to post about it on a site that is well followed in our area

The dad's day dinner was very good. Seems the 12 year old grandson is in training on the grills now. The kids swam even though we got some rain. Overall the weather was ok

This morning at 9 I will drive over to the shop and work till noon on a few projects.

Enjoy your day

Father's Day went well, we had our mediocre service at Cracker Barrel, no one apparently has taught the cook how to cook eggs,  my fried were running all over the plate, broken.  The Doll's had a resemblance to snot.  The place was loud, I don' t hear well in groups, groups in barns, even less well. >:(   It was nice to see that crew, tho.

NASCAR race from Naval Base Coronado was a different venue for sure.

Overnight run has moved on and it's sunny.

Plan to enjoy the day.

Be well all.  Curt, I applaud your bravery.  Hope it goes well.  We have one of those in the mix, somewhere.

Philip

We had tornado warnings from 1 am to 3:30 am. No damage except our sleep plans ruined. Growing sick of the steroid driven x storm chasers running the sirens.

The wind wasn't even blowing but we had rain...... Hwy 60 was closed from Garfield KY to Cloverport, KY ::)

Good morning everyone,

Thanks for the coffee and breakfast Rick, hope the visit to SS goes well.

Current weather is 20c (68f) with cloudy skies, at lest there is no rain in the forecast today.

Yesterday was an interesting day where grocery shopping turned into a treasure hunt.  :o After that is was laundry, which at least went as expected.

Spent part of the day cleaning off the layout.  After looking at it for a few minutes I decided to start at the east end of the layout and work my way west.  The big issue was finding a home for everything.  A garbage bag became the home for a lot of the stuff.  I got about one third of the layout completed.  I also decided I needed to finish the 4 boxcars I built and started the decaling process.  First step was to gloss coat the sides and then cut out styrene masks for decal locations.  I don't normally do this but I have 4 cars to do so it was worth the effort.  We shall see what tonight brings.

Have a great day everyone.

Philip have a nice ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!!

Ron I hope the West isn't that far off!!  ;D

Weather in South Jersey M. cloudy/76.  Later the same.
I go nothing done over the weekend.
But will try to finish the shingles on the one wall today.
