Howdy!

I am so glad the weekend is underway. There is a local train event in the town next to mine. If it is anything like it has been in the past a local club sets up a modular layout and they have some sort of festival with food vendors. It may be different this year. Given how little model railroad activity we get out this way, I will attend.

Here are more of the Jordan vehicles I have put together. I did not build these for myself. I was asked to make the circus truck a hot tar road paving truck but still use the circus truck look.

Thanks. That one there is the only one I have ever seen myself. Jordan was clever about reusing that Mack truck chassis. The dump truck next to it is the same Jordan chassis with a different box. I was surprised the decals for the circus truck were in good shape still. I've put together some of these Jordans where the decals were in really bad shape.

It seems that circus truck was unique to the Walthers Train offering.

I am glad I built it even though I didn't get to keep it. But I have proof of it :-) I wonder how many actually got built.

Jamie really nice trucks, they look fantastic. I've always wondered that same question, how many of the Jordon's ever actually get built. Almost every modeler I have visited has a stack of them waiting to be built. Even with all the 3D printing and such there is nothing like a well built Jordon. You and Dan make them look incredible. They remain the gold standard of HO vehicles.

This past week has been a busy one for sure. Yesterday was long in that Deb had surgery to remove a lump found near a breast implant. She had both removed 8 years ago due to cancer so has been a concern indeed. The initial reports are it is scar tissue caused by the implant operation. They will lab test but surgeon seemed pretty sure of what it was. She removed not just it but a significant amount of scar tissue in that area. So stressful but the news you want to hear. She is back on here feet this morning and already planning to go out with the girls later today.

As for me, rest is the order of the day, I guess I was more worried then her, or she hides it well. The surgery was done at Shanes in Gainesville a good 1.5 hours from where we live. Made for a long day. Anyhow the week ends on a high note. Hope everyone else has a great day too.

Thanks, Jim. Those pesky Jordans were a complete mystery until I built the first one and thought to myself, "I think I can build more of these."

That is great news regarding Deb's surgery.

Morning. Once again, nice trucks Jaime. The Mack water truck and the Ford tractor with rubber road wheels were atleast 2 vehicles that Jordan did for the Walthers circus line. Magnuson did a bunch of trailers, a sound truck,and a Human Cannonball truck ( Talk about a kit that gets stupid money when you can find one). Like I said the other day, the first show of the fall season in these parts is tomorrow in Concord NH. Small show but I've found a few deals over the years

Morning all,

Still wet and rainy here with incredible humidity, but not too hot. I'd like to mow today but it may rain on and off.

I had to look, I only have ten Jordan's in the inventory.

I have built a couple. The 1940 Ford Sedan fits my timeline, but I have some of the trucks as well. Jaime and Raymo, your builds look great.

Got the door up yesterday. Spent most of the time looking for stuff. Only took 20 minutes to find the Tapcon screws for example.

Good news there, Jim. Time to take a breathe and try to relax.

Nice pictures of some Jordan's this morning. Some of those kits are incredibly challenging. I'm thinking of the Budweiser Beer Wagon and the horse drawn hearse in particular.

I need to knock out my PT stuff before I hit the workbench.

My favorite YouTube paint/airbrush/tool review site has a review of a new paint bottle shaker: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o95F_G80w18 This works MUCH better than the Vortex model I have on smaller paint bottles, but the review shows that some bottles don't quite fit perfectly. And it's a lot cheaper (particularly if you follow the links in the YouTube page) than the Vortex mixer I got a couple months ago.

No financial connection to Barbatos Rex, just a big fan of his product reviews.
