Karl, On wall # 3 will there not be any rust or does the photo not show it.  If no rust can you please share what you used to make the gray color.  I do like the look of a wall without it looking rusted out

Hi All:

The left end addition is finished except for roof details. I made some changes. I liked the board by board construction so much that I made most of my walls that way instead of corrugated siding. Hope you like em. Here's photos.

I found this to be the most time consuming part of the kit so far.

I like the board on board walls and the red rolled roofing sets off the wood tones perfectly!

Looks good to me!
I agree with you on the board on board construction, I'm starting to use it for the fronts of my up front structures and then using the laser cut walls for the sides and back. The plan is to use all the left over fronts for a town that is in the back of the layout.

Karl,
The new changes are starting to make the kit have your look & not so much Fos (not that Fos look is bad) I just remember Karl O saying it does not hurt to make changes to a kit.  After all it is your kit

Please advise what color or stain did you use for the board by board construction
ALSO
what color did you use for the red roll roofing

Hi Mike:

The board by board is A&I stain. The red roofing is Krylon Colormaster Primer red oxide from Wallmart. It's ultra flat.
