Freecad 1.0.1 just updated software again to a new version. I've played in the sandbox 10 days and very little accomplished.

I may have to go with Fusion 360. It is beautiful but that price!

My biggest gripe when using Fusion was the constant updates that totally changed the program within a year.  So Freecad is doing that, too?

Fusion's $$$ is annual usage fee not purchase, right?

You know these are old with 3 patent numbers molded in. Picked these up at a sale for 5 bucks. The plan is to thin them in width to On30 or close enough. The lighter one is chopped. One to go.




A pretty basic task after all the tabs were removed. I removed 3 boards from each car end and married them back up. The stilts need to be rebuilt from wood. Atomic glue holding these together from the original builder.

I like these old crude kits. Diamonds in the rough from Plasticville!

I like the weathering, particularly the cracks at the bottom of the siding.

I cut them from the corners of the gable end so no extra joint. TY!

Dave, It appears whoever made the masters took extra time crafting the intricate details. TY!

I cut the area's highlighted with the awl. Also removed equal amounts on each roof pitch,about 3/16" on each overhang and file smooth.

Short and missing or broken are the stilts,door, and chimneys.
