BP,
I think you captured it.  looks like it could be an opening scene in a movie from a photograph to real.  Good job Maestro.  Thanx Thom..

Bob,

After looking back and forth between the two black and white photos, I think the only difference I can find is the horse's head is in a different position.

Seriously, you nailed it!  Absolutely awesome historical modeling.  No question at all, that is a bases loaded walk off home run!!!!!

So the judges got after the module today....

Scored 104.  I'm ok with that.

One of our toughest judges was a part of it.  It goes next to regional in June. I'm not making any significant changes.  I want to compare.  Few judges evaluate prototype model certificates. There are no matrix charts to go by.  Just read the rubrics.

They didn't like my back drop. I'll get over it.

I have a bunch of friends who want me to take it to the National in Salt Lake next year. I'll hve to think on that one.  I hadn't planed to go.  It is there because of 150 years since the trans con rr.

See ya

She sure looked nice on the judging table yesterday Bob.  I don't care what Clyde said, Don't change a thing!

BTW, Remember that box of structure parts that you priced for me from Bruce's Estate Sale Yesterday?  I am happy to report that they are no longer parts in a box!

Yea, it's turning out pretty cool.  What I found at the show was a box with three of the four walls finished with the remaining needed window trim paint.  So off I went to Micheal's to find some matching paint.  The interior of the structure had been started but I ended up scrapping that as there was no way to match that going forward.  Once the paint dried, I glued together the building walls and then added window glass, a foundation, weathering and a much needed roof.

I can't agree more.  And I suspect that it would have gone in the garbage if I hadn't bought it   :-[

Actually Bruce....

Nothing went to the dumpster yesterday......... It was a good event and a great tribute to Mac.

We had one small box of books left and a small tote tub of weird stuff..... aka, Rivarossi parts ! ! !

Glad you got that together.

Quit being so scarce ..........

I'm a big fan of 'recycled' and revitalized structures!  Glad to see that one made it out of the box.
