Good morning!

Snowed lightly overnight, we might have a couple inches on the ground.  Single digits outside this morning so the snow is glittering like diamonds.  Pretty, but BRRR!

Pretty obviously, I'll be spending much of my day inside.

Pic from Dick Elwell's layout.

Everyone have a safe and productive day!

Good morning!  Got lucky with about 4" of snow yesterday, while other parts of the state got 13!  I did manage to get some bench time in, and hope to get more in today.  First, I need more coffee.

Good morning! Cold here today, too.  Negative numbers - aka Modeling Weather. I hope everyone has a great day. Thoughts and prayers for Tom's recovery. I need to prepare another batch of F&SM photographs for posting - and I will get back to the daily picture.

Good Morning All,

Supposed to get to 80 F here today but it's still modeling weathering. I think the electrical issue on the layout is fixed and some rewiring was completed mainly by Jon Schubert that came to the house to help yesterday. I'll do more testing today and if successful will call it fixed.

I hope Tom is resting comfortably today.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Very cold with a six inch snowpack here in Central PA.  Today after grocery shopping we'll undecorate the Christmas tree.  I'll take the tree outside and tie it to a pole bird feeder. We hang suet from the tree and the branches provide shelter for birds around the feeder.  Later, about late March, I'll move it to the wood lot to decompose in peace with it's brethren from Christmases past and provide shelter to the furry critters.

I do love the changing seasons.

Happy winter, all.

Morning all,

Glad to read that Tom is doing well considering all he's been through this week.  Good news for sure.

Workbench time today and tomorrow.

From Howard Zane's layout.

Have a great one!

Good morning, again!.  I just finished up a project I have been working on for a few weeks.  For my daily F&SM picture I recut and edited the video from our 2016 visit to the F&SM. I'm about half way around the layout and thought I would start posting. I should have enough photographs to make it around the layout by the end of 2022. We will start out as the train comes out from under Franklin Station.  George is there to greet us. There will be a mixture of new photographs and the ones I posted in the thread a few years back. Enjoy - Thank you George.

Note:  Remember to use the scroll bar on the bottom of the pictures.  The photographs are screen shots and were taken with a wide angle lens - in my browser about half the picture shows up without scrolling.

Howdy,

I hear there is going to be a F&SM Open House before the Springfield Show. Better make a run to the photomat for some film.
