Good Morning Tom.
Thanks for stopping by and your kind words. Progress is slow but steady. While I await the photography shoot with anticipation, I am working feverishly to  complete a major section of the layout. I'm a real stickler for detail and that is time consuming. See you soon in the funny papers.

Frank,

The clump foliage is looking good. You can certainly tell it has been a long time since the last clump foliage planting. Have you given any thought to "refreshing" the older section?

Keep the pictures coming as you always say to me. ;D ;D ;D ;D

Good afternoon Tom,

Another day of details and thought you might like this. Yes, there is clump foliage, but there is a couple of nice structures to enjoy. Thanks for stopping by and waiting for the postman.

Frank / Erieman

Frank,

No problem, I was getting tired of reading the same article though! I'll need a Diet Pepsi if you want me to repair the roof! 8) 8)

Tom,

Good Evening. we had carpet replaced today, so that meant taking a lot of things apart yesterday and then putting it all back together today. Almost done. NOT. Only thing that I can't figure out is the phone. Not working yet, but I only use my cell, but the wife uses the house phone for business. Probably another day before I can get back to the railroad.

John,

Phone problem fixed. It turned out that I ran one of the phone lines into and out of the router instead of connection to the wall outlet. Easy mistake based on all the damn cables in such a small space. Someday there will be one cable or no cables to hook up all the computer stuff. Still a few minor things to do to complete the new carpet install. It does look good, I will say that. SO-o-o, I am now in the train room.

Bob,

Thanks for stopping by and glad you like the Little Hook. I have had this "little hook" for quite a while. Love the look of it. Surprisingly, they still make them.

Bob

The Alexander Scale Models product line including the "Little Hook" was purchased by Tomar Industries. Like everything else, the price has gone up, but it is still the same cute product.

Very nice looking scenery, Frank.

Jeff

Dr. Jeff,

Thanks for stopping by and glad you are enjoying the scenery. This is the fun part on the railroad, but so-o-o much to do. Oh my aching back. Stay tuned, more interesting scenery photos in then ext day or two.

I got a lot of modeling it today and I thought I would share the view. i have been working in Little Falls on the scenery. A package from scenic Express arrived today with more foliage clusters. Based on my estimate of the amount of clusters required, I will probably order some more cluster material tomorrow. There is a lot of area to cover on this layout. Besides gluing down foliage clusters, I started installing trees. Pine trees. I have only installed a few, bt the plan is a lot more in this scene. Below is a photo of the initial group of trees installed in Little Falls. More trees will be added over the next couple of days. in the meantime, enjoy the view.
