Back in the train room after doing some yard work. Here are a couple new pics showing the overall area. The majority of details that need completion are on the west side of the main structure near the water tower. Perhaps I can get to it tomorrow. In the meantime, enjoy the pics.

Very nice work. What is your track radius in the picture?

Curt,

Good Morning. The radius in the photo is 30" on the inner track. Both tracks have super elevation. The track is code 70. Thanks for stopping by and hopefully more pics this afternoon.

Good Morning All and happy Wednesday. Had a fellow forum member ( John Siekirk of S&S rr) out here for a visit the past couple of days. Introduced John to Don Ledger, maker of trees. We also discussed several areas on my layout, reviewed my story fro the MR article and poured water in Little Falls. The following pic shows water poured yesterday and this morning. Still need to add the waterfall, turbulence among the rocks and below the spillway. This is the beginning to the water project. So-o-o much more to do. Pics to follow. 38 days and counting.

Beautiful job Frank. I really like that shade for the water. Did you use Vallejo pigments for it?

Curt,

Thank you for stopping by. The water pigments are cheap acrylic paints. I used Navy blue and khaki for the most part. Glad you enjoyed the pic. More soon.

John,

Thank you for your kind words and for stopping by. I thought the water colors worked well myself. Adds a bit of zip. Now onto more streams and waterfalls. Probably mid next week before I am done with water.

Thanks for your kind words. Glad you like the water color. Me too. This is only the begining of my water project. Probably another week to finish all the water effects. Stay tuned.

Steve,

And lots of water. As you know, this is only the beginning. Wait til I get to the waterfall. That will be fun. Stay tuned.
