Thanks Mike, good to see you here again, it's been a while hasn't it. Looking forward to March , I will be at Ontraxs on Friday.

Yes I have just got the details from Ontraxs - it looks to be a great show with the advertised layouts. The following weekend we have been invited to the London Festival of Model Railways at Alexandra Palace, London. So a busy few days.

Once again your models are great, looking forward to the final results...

Mike :D

hopefully you all will take pictures. ;D ;D ;D

I'm sure I will, a few hundred each year at Ontraxs.  I even have a newspaper article with a photo of me  taking photo's at Ontraxs  ;D

I'm the one with the orange hood on my jacket.

I'm pretty sure that I am taking this photo.

I love photo's, don't we all.

On with Mooneys

This is the N-scale watertank, I used sewing thread to make the bands, everything else would be too thick.

Both watertanks to compare.

The roof of the H0 office after weathering with Citadel Technical paints.

The holes in the roofs are a bit too big for the chimneys so i hold them up like this until the glue sets.

Another roof , and deck installed.

The loading docks compared, only difference is the size.

Castings primed, started painting them today.
I love photo's, don't we all.

Somehow, a Dutchman wearing orange isn't an unusual site ;-)

Nope, I have a lot of orange clothes, most of us do.

Alas , no Dutch supporters at European Championships this year , our team did not qualify. So no Orange Sea at the football stadiums.

Looks great Jan...I especially like the roof. Congrats on your new HO layout. ;)
I love that layout you were photographing. I've studied many pics of it - Troels Kirk is one of my favorites and that one is, to say the least, inspired by his work.

Martin Wellberg is a friend of Troels and i am glad to say also one of my Dutch railroad friends. Yes Troels inspired him , but now Martin is taking his modeling to a next level. He was already a master in grass and tree scenery , now he is working on new weathering skills.

I love photo's, don't we all.

I'm really enjoying the thread Jan.  Great work!  Oh and I also have been watching Troels' work - he is a great artist.

Jan,

Troels is definitely an artist and certainly has inspired many and has quite the following among modelers.

Is the tank car your or Martin's. Very nice work either way.

The tank car is Martin's , I think this is On3 , that level of weathering/modeling is simply not possible in N-scale.
