You forgot to add Diet Pepsi distributorship to the public service announcement.

Do you do mail orders?  I rather buy from you than ebay

;D ;D 8)

Cousin Brucie,

Good to see you my friend. I'm not sure I want to get into listing them all on the forum. They are mostly ACL, SAL, and a mix of others. Are you looking for a certain RR or just commenting.

As I mentioned earlier, the Judge and I went through all the freight cars and decided to keep about half. Any time frame over a build date of 1954 was put in the "to move/liquidate" pile. Okay, I admit I did sneak a few of the 1954 cars in as they were to neat of let go. This is where weathering comes to very good use. 8) 8)

Today I did finish the coaling tower to the point of final weathering.

The chute walkways were installed along with all the ladders, railings and lower level stairs.

Good to know the lighting still works.

Time for a cold Diet Pepsi and close shop for the day.

Excellent job on the coalinga tower. I think it will be a focal point on the layout.

Hi Tom,

Terrific looking coaling tower.  Great progress on the newest addition to the A&S.   ;D  Can't wait to see it in person.   ;D  ;D

The coaling tower looks great - you have made a lot of progress in the past few weeks. I need to follow your lead and sort through all the boxes under the layout benchwork. Like Bob, I can't wait to see your layout in person. Maybe this spring?

Curt,

Thank you my friend, much appreciated. The entire area has turned out better than I planned. When I walk in and see the TT, roundhouse and supporting structures, I'm amazed they all fit in the space and yet don't look crowded.

Bob,

Thanks very much. It's slow going at times but I still try to get 6-8 hours a day out here. The A&S is closed the next two Saturdays so maybe Saturday July 18 if you are available.

John,

I appreciate the kind words on the coal tower. I'm finally finished with it.

And, I'm finally finished with going through all the stuff under the layout. It is now all sorted and in the corresponding area with other like items.

You know you are welcome anytime. Just give me a day or two to clean the layout.

Vince,

Thank you for the generous and kind support on the coal tower. It was a fun kit bash build and I'll have some final photos later this evening.
