Awesome looking facilities!!  Great weathering just enough to really show off the structure.

Over the past few days, I've been able to get in my 8+ hours of work on the layout.

I need to get the track on the south end to meet with the track at the south end of the reverse/roundhouse area. First though, I need to span the St. John's River.

A side note here for rivet counters. Keep in mind the A&S RR does things differently. Nuff said on that for now.

The branch line track crosses the river area here.

Note: The two citrus structures in the photo are only resting there. They will have a home on the north side of the river.

I'm using two Atlas Through Truss bridges.

Micro Engineering makes a 3' section of bridge track in code 83. Of course, the LHS didn't have one and I wasn't going to wait ten days to get one from Walthers. I used a regular section of ME flex track.

I soldered the bridge track section to each end of the flex track.

I then made a test, third time, fit.

I removed the ties from another section of 3' ME track.

I'm going to fast forward here and the bridge track, per A&S RR standards, is now complete.

The two truss bridges were glued end to end and the track was fitted for a test - AGAIN.

Back in a few, Diet Pepsi time here. It's a very hot Saturday on the A&S RR.

The bridge track was glued in place on the two truss bridges.

Forgot to get the Diet Pepsi, back in a few - Again.

Prior to adding the bridge structure in place, I wanted to cut in a #6 turnout for another industry.

I removed a small section of the pink foam, added a section of cork road bed and installed the turnout.

On the Atlantic and Southern Railroad, all is on the level. Well, maybe not the politicians.

I should have more updates tomorrow.
