Tom,

You have been making progress!

I take off for a month or better traveling the peninsula and it takes me a dozen or more pages to catch up to the present. I am glad to read that you are devoid of all follow up problems from your procedures and that you are once again

Bob

Bob,

I appreciate you checking in on the thread. Yes, I've been busy, very busy in fact.

The main surgery in January and the two follow up surgeries have been more of an inconvenience than anything. All together, they set me back a good three months worth of layout work.

I'm not complaining as I didn't require any Chemo or Radiation for the cancer. A Lymphnodeectomy or lymph node dissection showed no cancer spread to that area. So, in the grand scheme of things, I'm still very healthy, just minus a prostate.

Staying positive through the entire process was a bonus for me. Fantastic family and friends made the experience a smooth few months.

Wow!   :o  This is looking absolutely splendid!!   :D  :D  :D  I'm working on a small item for you that I need to drop off one of these days.  The only hint I'll give is it's not a structure nor is it a vehicle.   ;)

Tom - Seems to me when we used to "borrow" oranges from local groves to throw at our buddies, there was always a tree or two in the grove that had died and had bare branches.  Of course this was long before citrus canker, so the dead trees probably died from old age.  If the grove on your A&S RR is a "new" grove, there would be no dead trees.

I really like the "weeds" under the trees.

Wow , Tom.  I miss a few days on your thread and you have orange trees growing and producing oranges already. Very nice work!

Bob,

Thank you kind sir. This area has been a lot of fun getting the scenery in place. I'm curious about this small item you have.

I'll give you a call, maybe you can come down Saturday for some much needed BBQ from the Bones.

Judge,

The orange grove at Perkins' Farm is very well maintained. It gives them a modest income so they can't afford to let any of the trees go to ruin. Farmer Perkins is in the grove on a daily basis.
Heck, I bet the old Mrs. Perkins has a small garden.

John,

Thank you, much appreciated. My grandson is 16 so those days of staying with Gippop and running trains are long gone. It gives me that time to myself and the layout. I have 32 more tress going in the grove.

Greg,

Great, my Babe and I will be up tomorrow late morning. Be sure you don't squeeze any juice out of the oranges.
