Tom,
That last picture posted would make an awesome shot if you could add some early morning swamp fog.  Wouldn't it! 8)  KP-out

Thom,

Yes, it would. I'll have to give that some thought.

Rich,

Thanks very much. I think it will look more natural when I get more detail around and under the house.

Tom...

These latest scenery photos...out-bloody-standing, as we would say down-under.

You are building a fine looking layout. You must be very pleased with the progress.

Beautiful additions to the layout and scenery.  I know during the layout tours everyone will be as impressed with your skill as I am.

Tom, that is what happens when you use Cracker Jacks. LOL

Tom,

In just over 48 hours you can take a breather from this "Hell bent for Leather" schedule you have set for yourself. You have accomplished an enormous amount of real estate development in a minimum of time and I know it will be well received. If you hadn't had that setback you would probably be running trains on the upper level! I am sure that after the convention tour you will set another energetic schedule, but with it you can take a break at any time and relax.

The participants on the tour will be well impressed with your concept, your scenery, your attention to detail and your progress. I have mentioned your date and time to a couple of my friends from up north and hopefully they will have allotted time in their schedule to see the layout. I hope the day goes very well for everyone and there will be no planned or, inadvertent utilization of the pool by the masses.  Enjoy the accolades you will receive.

David,

Why I-bloody-thank you! I very much appreciate the kind compliment. It has been fun. I think I've become a scenery junkie. 8)

Bob,

Great to hear from you my friend. The set back cost me three months worth of work but I'm
certainly not complaining. Three months off was better than having my heirs take it all apart.

I have been very busy as you can see but it has been well worth the effort. I find I'm more interested in scenery and structures than running trains.

I do have more self imposed work as I want to get a train running on the third level by January 2018.

I hope all that come visit leave being happy they stopped by. I also hope your friends make it by as well.

Thirty eight hours and counting.

Today I poured water in the cow pond. I used the WS Deep Pour Water Murky.

The cows seemed happy as well to have some water.

I mixed some Deep Pour Water Clear and added water to the river under the roadway and railroad bridges.

Before -

After the pour -

I then went back to check on the cow pond. The cows were gone and I said, "WHAT THE ----"!

Several different phrases came forth from my lips none of which can be expressed here. You don't need to be Hercule Poirot and use your little gray cells to know what I was saying.

Forty Eight hours until the open house and this Chit happens.

The water started coming up in blobs and doing all kinds of weird movements. You've got to be kidding me, I don't have time for this Mr. Murphy crap!

I quickly removed what I could to save the pond and the scene. This is what I removed.

More in a few. Most definitely time for a tall cold Diet Pepsi, maybe two.
