Tom,

Once again, you have "enlightened" me.  After seeing them on your layout thread, I started checking into the LED strips.  Your post explaining they should be wired in parallel (thanks to Doug, too), as well as the photos will make it much easier for me to add them to my layout.

Greg,

I'll be sure to stay tuned as long as you promise to stay off the layout bench work. 8)

So far we have Greg Speed and now Gregize, I wonder whats next?
Tom ;D

Perhaps a Gregorian chant when he enters the room?
Working on my second million. I gave up on the first.

The frame is then placed on the third level brackets and screwed in place.

The LEDs strips are temporarily wired to the LED buss line. I'll either solder or use suitcase clips for permanent attachment.

I use an AC-DC Power Supply for the LED lighting.

I got these off Amazon, four for $60.00.

More in a few.

Tom,

can you post the link to this Amazon site please.

Damn Uncle Tommie,
It's amazing how much good modeling you can do in a short period of time.  I need to convince you to come to Boise and help me with my railroad.  How about a case to 2 ltr bottles of Diet Pepsi?

He He

;D ;D ;D

Cousin Brucie,

Good to see you my friend. These days with the new addition to the house, my time is somewhat needed elsewhere. However, I do try to get in a few hours on the layout each day.

I'd love to visit Boise and the Diet Pepsi offer is accepted. Unfortunately, visiting Boise is down the list of priorities if I want this third level to get finished. :P

Tom ;D

OK, I will have to find out how much it costs to ship that much Diet Pepsi to Orlando.  Somehow I don't think it will all fit in the $5 shipping box from the post office.

Bob Parrish and I would love to have you out here sometime in the future.  I think you would get a kick out of our group of model builders.  Most of us have known each other for 30years or more.  The nearest RR hobby shop is 300 miles away and even finding plastic cement in Boise can be a challenge around here these days.  Thank GOD for EBAY!

;D ;D ;D

Jerry,

I'm very happy you like the LED lighting. Doug has helped me tremendously on the LED lighting.

Thanks you for following along on the adventure.

Curt,

Could we have come full circle in "pi r square", as in "Greg r square"? Greg to the third power seems to much! ;D ;D

Just saying.

Chip,

Great idea, but when he came over yesterday, he didn't chant anything. :'(

Cousin Brucie,

I would really love to come visit with ya'll. Sounds like you have a great group of people in the area.

We are still fortunate enough to have two hobby shops in the Central Florida area but I only go to the one closest to the house. Most of my other stuff comes from the internet and Amazon.
