Dave,
I've looked at this kit a few times, but I haven't quite been able to open my wallet.  I'll be following to see what you do with it.
FWIW, I've used A/I , Dr. Ben's Driftwood, and rattle can gray primer as undercoats, they do influence the top coat to some extent, but I have found all to work well.

Thanks, Jerry...stay tuned! 👍🏻

slow down....I'm coming .....

Dave K.

Hey, Donato!

Did some painting experiments throughout the week. Settled on the sponge technique using a color called Honey Mustard. Kind of Kodak-y. Want the building to be weather-worn.

Dave K.

Vintage White for windows, trim.

Some great signs provided...I've been hunting for more.

Dave,

Great camera signs you've added to the thread.

The wall look faded and well worn, good job.

Thanks, Tom. Painting doors and windows, now.

Playing with signs...nothing glued yet (except corner trim).

More signs...I'm addicted.

Dave - the walls look fantastic. Did you find that the initial inkahol wash before the gray paint added something to the final effect? Also, did you do another wash after sponging on the yellow?

Cheers,

Can't say the first wash made much difference...did it more out of habit and to avoid any bare wood showing. On top of the yellow I did a VERY light inkahol wash. Always cautious over light colors. Thanks for visiting. 👍🏻
