John the water does look good, once the dio is in place it will be interesting to see what you do to join the water flow off the rocks to a waterway.

Thank you for the kind words - with every touchup I make I'm getting more excited about putting this build in place on the layout.

Here are few pictures of the build once I moved it into location on the layout. I will be adding the scenery and a few more details over the next few days and then I will post some final pictures for this thread.

Is the 'water' fully cured now?  How about a photo from the right side?

Yes, it was cured clear. I will get a picture from the right side later today.  I have started adding cotton underneath clear acrylic chalk and Golden Clear Gel to create the white water affect.  The same technique with cotton is being used for the water coming out of the culverts filling the pond. I thought I posted some pictures as I started this process - but it don't look like I did. :-[

Looking forward to seeing the results!  It'll inspire me to keep going with the stuff I'm doing (working out track kinks and soldering feeders - least favorite part of the hobby....)

Outside of Threadwell being my favorite of all his kits.

You have done one of the most outstanding diorama's with these two models.  You should be applauded!!

Here is a picture of the right side as you requested.  The white you see in the water is where I started to add the cotton underneath. I added a little more this evening and will be building this up a little at a time until I get the water flow I'm looking for.

Thank you for the kind words. I think this will really pop as the scenery is added.

Here is what the scene looked like just before I turned out the lights for the evening. I'm blocking in the area with foam so I can blend in the land forms. I will be adding a layer of paper and glue on top of the foam.  And then I add a layer of beach sand as my base for the scenery materials.  You can see that I'm changing the area just to the left of the diorama - I have never liked the stonework in this area and have decided to add a wooded area to the left of this diorama.
