Had a nice visit to the ole' A&S yesterday. The modifications to the turntable that Tom made with the wood decking and wood operators shack look great up close.  8)

The cafe with all the interiors detail and little people is terrific and the textured stucco on the Mexican joint is the most realistic I've seen modeled.  8)

Thanks for the fun time and BS Tom (and Bill and Curt).....great work.  :)

Greg,

Yes, The Judge, Curt and you stopped by yesterday. BSing is always good and goes hand in hand with railroad modeling.

Thank you for the kind compliment on the turntable, pit, shack and stucco on the Gusano Loco build.

By the way, don't get to  comfortable with my "thanks".  I have more for you later this afternoon.

Jerry,

Thank you for the kind and generous compliment, much appreciated.

I wasn't sure the Matte River Rock color was going to work but it turned out perfect for what I wanted.

Bob,

Yepper, you did. All are welcome to come by on Saturday, just call to make sure I'll be here.

We did do our share of BSing while BBQing as well.

Greg,

Just be happy I wasn't locked and loaded yesterday when you pulled your stunt. Which by the way, I'll let you stew a few more hours. :-X

Okay folks, it's time to call out Gregory.

Yesterday, Curt brought a tin of Peanut Butter cookies over thanks to his kind wife.

When we got back from the BBQ and prior to the BSing, I took an unsweet tea into the house for the Babe.

I came back out, and Greg, hereafter known as "Greg Crumbs" was stuffing a cookie into his mouth. And, he was leaning over the layout, more importantly the turntable area. I said, "What the Hell are you doing?"

He opened his mouth and peanut butter cookie crumbs fell out and onto and into the turntable pit area. To make matters worse, he takes his finger and tries to pick up the crumbs thereby crushing them onto the pit. When he didn't get them all up, he blows the rest away.

Now, when you blow stuff away, it has to go somewhere does it not?

Well, they did.

Later yesterday I was working on the turntable bridge and it got stuck in one spot. I backed it around and it stopped in the same spot again. I removed the bridge to check the problem.

I found a big, crushed cookie crumb in the pit rail area and jamming the gears. Thanks Greg Crumbs for yet another one of your adventures at my expense.

You just got the throttle privileges back and now you pepper my newly painted turntable pit with cookie crumbs.

Forget Greg Speed, you are now known as Greg Crumbs. Oh by the way, this isn't a term of endearment.

Curt,

Thankfully, no, just on the pit rail treads.

Greg,

Well, with that stated so eloquently, it appears the matter is closed.

With the way my mind has been working lately, I won't even remember the incident, if there was one, in the next few hours.
