My first reaction was a hurricane but then I thought tornado. Seems appropriate. As usual Tom, it is always a pleasure to check into your layout. It also gives my motivation a jolt. Jim

The yard work looks great. Sorry to see the damage but most of it looks superficial which is a good thing. Unfortunately it will probably be 1-2 weeks before I can get down that way.

Curt,

Thanks, next time you are in the area, stop in. I edged and cut the grass last Wednesday and it looks good. Oh wait, you are talking about the yard at Summit, not my YARD! My bad . ;D ;D

So, thank you for the compliment.

My next available Saturday will be July 6, 2019.

Hope to see ya then.

Well, it is Hurricane Season, and the first one has passed by with only a little Wind Damage. :o :o :o :o

Jim

Jim,

It could have possibly been wind damage. When the Judge and I get together, there is certainly a lot of hot air blowing around. 8)

It was good to see you Saturday.

I suspect that in order to get all that work done in a weekend a few extra Diet Pepsis are going to need to be consumed.

Cousin Brucie,

It would in the past, but today I only had one small bottle and three waters. I tried to give them, DP, up but I guess I'm an admitted Diet Pepsiholic. :-X :-[

And so it goes.

Chipper,

Usually I'm right there with you but I guess I missed something with the "blue Smoke". :-[ :-[

Today I worked several hours on my forestry problems.

After making the decision to add a plexiglass fascia 3-4 inches above the layout, I also decided to use some fantastic trees I've been holding back planting.

I'd like to give a big "uplift and shout out" to Kris Cutler, Mrs. PennsyJ1.  Some time last year she made me about three dozen of the most wonderful and realistic looking trees. All the trees were made from Super Trees.

First, I had to clear an opening. The trees were marked for removal and stacked.

The trees were then removed.

These are just two of the fantastic trees Kris made for the A&S RR.

And here is a close up of the tree on the right.
