Continuing.........
A lot of the parts are numbered incorrectly and without instructions/suggestions on construction there is a great deal of guesswork but.........

Thanks Jan and Curt for the support, it is most welcome!
The winch machinery was a head scratcher. But I finally solved it by a bit of experimentation...........

There are three ladders in the kit. They are very fragile being made of very thin card/paper.

Mike,

Great job on the crane. For such a small kit, it sure has many many parts.

Tom, it sure has. For $45 it is quite a kit.

Mike,

That crane is amazing.  All those fiddly rivets and delicate ladders really make it "pop"!

Thanks Jerry and Curt - I'm still struggling with the fiddly bits but hope to finish up soon.

Last photos of the crane. Rigging the pulleys was a bit of pain but we finally got there. The arm of the crane runs along a track on the side of the sheds and when it is eventually planted the crane will run on rails on the harbourfront.
Nice kit, very delicate as it is made up of card; it will need a little weathering when "planted".
