Here is a picture after installation.  I will do the final weathering after everything is in place.

Today, I added the dormers and Skylight - the roof cards have been glued down and will be ready for shingles when I get back at it.

The base board is ready for the structures to be glued down.

Today, I added the shingles to the dormers and the extension boards to the center dormer. These extension boards will be covered with metal roofing to make it look like a repair. I tarred this up like the repair nightmare that this roof would be.  I also modeled it with the roof sagging in the middle from the weight of all the dormers.

I added the metal roofing at the top of the dormer, built the front dock, added the window and door castings to building B, and did a test fit between structure A and B.  I did a little work on the belt sander to get the fit I wanted between the two structures. Structure C is in the background all clamped up.  I decided not to make the roof removable as George does in the kit.  Mine will have LED lighting to show off the interior detail in building C. I will also be adding some gooseneck outside lights.

I also added the first of about a half dozen smoke stacks to the roof. I will be doing a lot of weathering to this build once it is in place on the baseboard and again when it is mounted in place on the layout.

What a great looking structure! I love all the build threads because, as a relative newcomer to FSM kits, I've seen most of them in pics, but not as "intimately" as you get through a build thread. This is really nice. I'm looking forward to the weathering blast! Nice work!

As usual, the stone work and shingling look especially good.
