Great structure!  That's going to be a nice scene.

Thanks for this tutorial on cleaning scenery!  And I, too, have used plexiglass to protect layout-edge structures ... from myself, as well as visitors.

Jerry,

This needed to be done years ago. I just kept putting it off as I had other projects going.

Ron,

I can't wait either. I've done one section and the difference is amazing. I'll post an update tomorrow.

Vagel.

The track and roadway bridges are a focal point on the layout. They are also the first structures I built.

You are welcome. I'm happy to share my ideas. The plexiglass was a must. Either i add it or continue to make repairs.

Thank you for the comments and for stopping by.

I finished the first two sections of scenery. These are the two sections east of the dirt road.

I removed the tree that grew in front of the yellow blooming one. Half of it was dead so I added a new healthier tree to the right.

This next photo shows the new scenery on the right and the old scenery on the left. This is the area between the roadway and the layout's edge.

I also added new scenery to the ditch area and around the roadway guardrails.

Tomorrow I'll work on the area between the dirt road and the two bridges.

Done for today.

"Another shrubbery!"   I think your dirt roads are some of the best I've seen.
