Hey Tom, when I get a minute, I'll do a bit of research and see if I can find a 12 step program that might be of help..... ;D ;D ;D

Greg,

You are my 12 step program. If it weren't for you my friend, I wouldn't need one.  ;D

Curt,

I agree with Dave. We all have our "Wilsons".

This past Saturday, Bill brought over a new toy. We call our new stuff, "Show and Tell".

I wasn't sure I'd like it but after reading the instructions, it seemed like a fun little addition to the layout.

It's a wheel squealer.

It is a motion activated flange squeal. It offered by Iowa Scaled Engineering.

I'm not sure this is spelled correctly but it pronounces to me as a long bowel movement.

Here is a photo of how it is wired.

I'll say here that it took me longer to crop and load these photos than it did to install the flange squealer.

I'll finish this tomorrow.

It sounds like a setup for a operating signal system (sensors in roadbed) but instead of signals you get brake squealing.

I watched a YouTube video about this and it looks very interesting.

Curt,

Yes, this is no more than a sound board with a motion detector. I'll get a very short video up later this week.

Tommy,

Good to see you and I hope you and Sandy is doing well. Almost time for me to order Christmas Candy.

Thank you for the kind compliment on the marker lights.

The photo below is of the sound/mother board and the motion sensor stick.

I have wired the motion sensor to the board for simplicity.

The Squealer can be powered from 5V to 24V DC.

This next photo is of the speaker and speaker housing. It plugs into the white receptacle on the upper right of the board.
